Democrats are scared that former president  Trump will recapture the White House.  Joe's worsening senility is only a small part of the problem.  Worse are the Dem policies of wide-open borders, spending billions to produce the worst inflation in 40 years; daily smash-and-grab robberies, record carjackings, record drug deaths et al.  Democrat politicians to wail--not about the policies, but about the fact that a growing number of voters are beginning to see who's policies those are.

So naturally the Lying Mainstream Media is pushing the theme of Trump as dictator, and trying to push the legal system to remove him from the ballot as hard as they can, with the goal of terrifying Americans into voting Democrat.

The Obamas are world-class cynical phonies, capable of anything.  "Fundamentally transform this nation," he said.  And he set it in motion.  And now the JoBama regime is in its third term, and determined to steal a fourth.

Obozo "persuaded" Joe to accept Cackles (Kamala) as VP solely to get more black votes.  No serious top Democrat thought Kamala was even remotely competent, but they all realized that choosing a half-black female as VP would make liberals swoon, just as the first black prezzy did.  Plus Kammie was a historic female, like biden supreme court "justice" Katanji Brown-Jackson! Yay!  Double-plus-good, comrade.

Now, with biden polling badly, the Dems have a huge problem.  They could easily get joe to bow out (by offering him enough of what he loves most), but *under normal conditions* that would move Cackles into the presidency, which is likely to alienate more voters than it attracts--meaning they'll have to work harder to steal the election.

Biden and the Democrats lost the border to the drug cartels, bribing and killing their way into power.  And the American people know it.

No one could force the biden regime to enforce valid U.S. immigration law, so the governor of Texas--one of the states hardest hit by the tsunami of illegal invaders--did the only thing that could help convince the lefties: He sent a few thousand to the Democrat-ruled cities of Chitcongo and New York City.

Now the Democrat mayors of both are wailing about how *impossibly hard it is* to find money to feed and house maybe 20,000 illegals--compared to half a million for Texas.  The invasion has angered black residents, especially in Chicago since the illegals are being housed in black neighborhoods.

And O'Hare International.  But they're kept behind black curtains with signs posted every six feet ordering "Do Not Touch the Curtain!"

Black Democrats are feeling particularly betrayed as their children are being evicted from schools and parks to serve the illegals.  The Dems make angry noises about not voting for the Dems in November, but the Party will ensure votes are cast in their names, just as in 2020.

Illegal invaders--or as the Lying Media always calls 'em, "migrants," to be able to claim Republicans are anti-immigrant—are draining funds that would have paid for police, housing and schools for minority Chicago residents.  So predictably, black Chicago voters are *slowly* starting to realize that the flood of illegals is due to a crazy policy of the Democrat party, now led by Obama’s sock-puppet and former VP (now inexplicably prezzy.)

Of course the Obamas don’t have to worry about having to be around illegal invaders since they live in Martha’s Vineyard.  (For young Americans, the governor of Florida flew a single planeload of illegals to Martha's Vineyard.  They stayed there for a grand total of 48 hours, because elite MV residents used their connections with the biden regime to move 'em to a military base off the island.  Nice.)

If you haven't noticed, no Mainstream Media outlet *ever* criticizes either the Obamas or biden.  No one is as fawning, slobbering, "malleable" as white liberal "journalists" afraid of being called racists.   

So the problem for the Democrat party is how to get biden to withdraw.  Then they can (falsely) blame him for their disastrous policies. That's easy, but there's a huge hidden problem:  they have to do it in a way that won't put Cackles into the presidency.

The Dems want the oily, scummy (but *so* photogenic, eh?) Gavin Newsome as their nominee.  Unfortunately he's not on the ballot.  And if the Dems try to leapfrog Newsome over the incompetent Cackles, blacks and liberal females will be pissed and some will stay home instead of voting.  (Of course the Dems will see to it that their ballots are still counted.)

But the Dems have an ace in the hole: party *rules* say that if it's found *after the convention* that one of their nominees can't serve, top party officials *alone* get to choose the nominee's replacement.  

Ahhh...

So I suspect that unless Porridgebrain's poll numbers turn around sharply, the Dems will arrange for the White House physician to declare that he has a "medical issue" *just after the convention.*  They'll quietly offer Cackles an undisclosed sum and presidency of a black university to step down.  Her official reason will be that because she played a key role in the biden regime, she realizes voters will associate her with the "controversial" policies, so for the good of the country....

And just three weeks or so before the election, the Dem leaders will decree that their new nominees are Newsom and Michelle Obama.

Blacks and women will be ecstatic, and rank-and-file Dem voters will be happy.  Every problem will be magically solved.  

The Lying Mainstream Media not only won't say a critical word, they'll fawn and slobber over how "brave and noble" joe and cackles were in supposedly "putting the good of the country before their personal desires."  And moronic voters would eat it up.
 
Watching our beloved nation--founded on such noble principles, so blessed with resources and so many good people--slowly being brutally beaten into unrecognizability by deliberate Democrat corruption and evil policies--is like watching a loved one who's an alcoholic or addict:  Each day you think they've finally hit bottom and will begin to recover.  But every time, you're wrong.  

I hate to say it, but it's going to get much, much worse.  And if the Democrats pull the after-convention switch, replacing joe and cackles with Newsom and Michelle you'll know the steal is in.

The LA Times recently announced lots of layoffs.  So in an effort to show readers how supposedly devastating this was for LA and the U.S., a "journalist" for the Times--Noah Goldberg--posted a pic on his Twitter account of an empty newsroom and asked "What's missing from this picture."

Supreme Court rules it's illegal for the National Guard to...guard the nation

Last week, by a vote of 5 to 4, the Supreme Court ruled that it's now illegal for the Texas National Guard to guard either Texas or the nation.

Justice Ketanji Brown-Jackson summarized the case: "Using the National Guard to guard the nation is a totally illegal mis-use of the National Guard," she wrote.  "Our president has ordered that our border be open so an unlimited number of poor refugees--the preferred term is 'undocumented Americans'--can enter our nation and become citizens, hopefully in time to vote in November."

"Our precious Constitution doesn't allow states to disobey the orders of our duly elected president by actually guarding their borders."

"As a result of the ruling," Katanji Brown-Jackson continued, "Texas is ordered to immediately pull all its National Guard troops off the border and let our Border Patrol return to their assigned job of welcoming 300,000 refugees a month into our country.  It's the compassionate thing to do," she said.

"The Constitution says the real job of the National Guard is to guard the Capitol and White House against mobs of white supremacists."

Arizona GOP chair caught on audio trying to bribe Kari Lake to not run for U.S. senate

An audio recording from last March shows the chairman of the Arizona Republican party (Jeff DeWit) offering Kari Lake money to not run for the senate seat.  Naturally you can't believe people do that today, but listen to the damn audio.

"There are very powerful people who want to keep you out," says DeWit, adding that the same people are "willing to put their money where their mouth is."  

Lake replies "These people are corrupt."  She asks what the "powerful people" want from her.  He replies, "They want you to stay out for two years."  

He continues, "I'll tell you what I can offer you," saying some company could "just put you on the payroll to keep you out" of the senate race.

When Lake pushes back against the idea, DeWit asks "Is there a number at which..."  Lake interrupts, saying, "I can be bought?  That's what it's about."

After telling Lake she could have a "bigger voice in politics later" and that she should take the offer DeWit says "This conversation never happened."

Kari Lake is very popular with conservatives, a rising star.  You may have a hard time believing thugs who want to run this nation would offer her a bribe to drop out, but listen to the damn audio.  And as one commenter noted, it sounds as if DeWit has given this speech before.

House cmte learns a Chinese researcher gave NIH the gene sequence to covid early, but agency DELETED it!

The article below is from USA Today.  It's a masterpiece of cover-your-ass propaganda from the biden regime, designed to make you ignore new information showing that the regime knew *from the beginning* that the the virus had been modified from being harmless to humans, to being about as deadly as the flu.

Now, why would the biden regime want you to ignore new information that clearly shows they were lying to ya when the shill Fauci bleated that it was "absurd" to suggest that the Chinese had modified the virus at the Wuhan Institute of Technology, eh?

It's because biden has been on the bribe payroll of the Chinese communist party for years.  You'll find out eventually, when it no longer matters.

Two weeks before a researcher made the genetic sequence of the SARS-CoV-2 virus available to the world, another Chinese scientist [had] quietly posted it to a U.S. government website.

The earlier posting doesn't change the virus' origin story ‒ whether it was sparked by a live animal market or leaked from a scientific laboratory.

"Doesn't change a thing," eh?  Wait...what hasn't changed?  The story doesn't say, but cunningly buries the lede: it could have been "sparked by a live-animal market," which was what Fauci insisted, eh?

And if it turns out that the gene sequence of the virus shows it could not possibly have evolved naturally, think the regime or the Media will tell ya?  But don't worry, Fauci et al have absolutely assured Americans that the virus evolved its lethality totally naturally, without any human intervention.

That Narrative is utter horseshit, but since you're not familiar with genetics--and of course the regime know that--you don't have a prayer of realizing the official Narrative is brazen horseshit.

The odds of all four modifications in the genetic code of covid-19 compared to the closest known "natural" bat virus happening by chance are hundreds of billions to one.  As one wag put it, the odds are the same as a tornado going thru a junkyard and assembling a Boeing 747.

But it does renew questions about how much China knew about the virus and when. It suggests that vaccine development could have started sooner. And it raises new questions about how much the U.S. government knew or should have known about the virus in those early days.

That's a deliberate effort to trivialize the issue.  The question is NOT at all "how much China knew and when," but whether the CCP ordered its agents to modify a harmless bat virus to make it kill people.  Which is exactly what they did, so it's understandable that they don't want to admit it.

Republican congressmembers have been demanding documents showing when the National Institutes of Health first knew about the virus that causes COVID-19.

Fauci's agency is one of the five major divisions of the NIH.

Official timeline

Chinese officials claim they first identified a new kind of pneumonia in late December 2019, and flagged it as being caused by a novel coronavirus on January 7, 2020.  The Chinese government has repeatedly said it has been open and transparent about the virus, revealing what it knew as soon as its information was relevant and confirmed.

But the fact that the genetic sequence of the virus was posted to a U.S. website on Dec. 28 contradicts this official timeline.

Not one reader in 10,000 has made it this deep into the article, cuz it's dry as dirt.

According to the records of GenBank, a genetic sequence database operated by the National Center for Biotechnology Information, the new virus's genetic sequence was submitted by Dr. Lili Ren, a virologist at the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences in Beijing.

USA Today says "the National Center for Biotechnology Information" runs GenBank.  What they fail to tell you is that the Center is under the NIH--the outfit that Fauci effectively ran.  (Yeah, he only headed the NIAID, but his seniority, and the fact that his wife was the director of ethics, gave him outsize influence.) 

Ren's submission was apparently missing some technical, non-scientific information that GenBank requires.  Submissions to GenBank "are subject to automated and manual processing to ensure integrity and quality and are then made available to the public."

On Dec 31 of 2019 GenBank notified Ren that her submission would be deleted within a few weeks without the additional information, but it appears she never responded.

According to biden's Department of Health and Human Services, “The submission in question was unable to be verified, despite follow-ups by NIH to the Chinese scientist for more information."

Go back three 'grafs:  The article says Ren's gene sequence was apparently missing some "non-technical info," y'say?  Why "apparently"?  It should be easy to say definitively one way or the other, eh?  Oh wait...that's no longer possible, because...wait for it...GenBank deleted the only known gene sequence for the new virus which had already killed 40,000 residents of Wuhan, China.
   Now what honest person would delete the first and only known gene sequence of the new virus that had reportedly killed thousands of Chinese EVEN IF THE SEQUENCE WAS ALLEGEDLY MISSING SOME "TECHNICAL, NON-SCIENTIFIC INFORMATION"?
    That's clearly beyond stupid: You preserve  that first sequence forever.  If you don't think it's accurate, don't publish it--but at that point no one knew if it was accurate, eh?
    Understand this clearly: NO HONEST PERSON would delete such a possibly invaluable piece of forensic evidence, for any reason.
    No honest person.  Now remind me again, who had total authority over GenBank?  Tony Fauci.  Sure, not technically, but when the head of one of NIH's five sub-agencies (Fauci) calls the director of GenBank and says "delete that" what do you think happens, eh?
    Fauci knew--instantly, from looking at Ren's sequence--that it had been modified, by the insertion of four genes (ironically found in the HIV virus) to make it lethal to humans.  He knew this couldn't have happened naturally.
    Finally, he knew to a certainty that in 2015 the chief researcher at the Wuhan Institute--who's been called "bat lady"--had published a paper reporting her institute's success in splicing a single (harmless) gene into a bat coronavirus.
   She presented that paper at an international conference.  And the last page thanked the U.S. NIH for funding the research.  It even reported the 15-digit grant number, which is still in U.S. records.
   I've read the paper.  Because it was published over four years before covid emerged, no one thought to cover it up back then, and now it exists in too many places to make all the copies vanish.

Then on Jan 12 another Chinese group submitted a nearly identical sequence with verifiable details, which "was used by NIH scientists and others in their work to understand the origins of COVID-19."

Now why would the HHS dweeb decline to be identified, eh?  The info isn't classified, yet the spokesdweeb doesn't wanna be identified.  When you figure that one out you'll be closer to knowing the truth.

“HHS has consistently and voluntarily provided Congress with thousands of pages of documents, as well as the expertise of officials, as part of its effort to promote transparency and understanding on the origins of COVID-19,” the [carefully unidentified] spokesperson said.

Read the above 'graf again.  It's clearly a cover-your-ass statement.  Lots of scientists in the regime know what happened, and they're laying the groundwork for the "We dindoo nuffin' wrong" Narrative.  That is, the big lie.

Now let me tell you what almost certainly happened: The Chinese researcher, Lili Ren, who posted the first gene sequence to a U.S. government website, was honest.  She's vanished and is either dead or in a Chinese prison.  The sequence she posted--which revealed the fact that Covid had clearly, obviously been modified by inserting four critical genes to make it lethal to humans--was deleted, with no backups retained, almost certainly at the behest of Fauci, who knew exactly what it meant.

On Jan 31 of 2020 I read a paper by a dozen Indian scientists showing the gene sequence of the virus--and vastly more valuable, comparing it to the closest "natural" bat virus.  This allows you anyone to instantly see the four inserted genes.  In the sequence below, the first line of every bar is Covid-19, while the second line in each bar is the closest known bat coronavirus.  You can easily see the four inserted genes.  "Natural mutation" would change one "base pair" at a time, but here contiguous groups of up to eight "codons" are all new--inserted.

  
   The above paper was only available in pre-print, and was quietly withdrawn from consideration for publication, with no explanation given.
   Many papers are withdrawn if the authors or reviewers find significant errors, but there's almost always a reason given.  Here there wasn't.
   For young Americans, China and India share a long border.  It wouldn't be unusual for the Chinese government to order one of its agents in India to have the paper withdrawn.

In summary, USA Today buries the lede, which is that the first known gene sequence of the new, deadly virus, submitted to a U.S. government website run by the NIH, was outrageously deleted--something totally insane.    The article totally ignores the signficance of "apparently missing" that implicitly confirms that someone in the NIH deleted the original gene sequence.
   The Chinese scientist who submitted that sequence is missing. Finally, the article contains several clear ass-covering statements.

  Now I'm trying to find the "replacement" gene sequence submitted to the U.S. by the Chinese communist party in Jan of 2020 to see if that matches the sequence submitted by the Indian researchers.

Don't worry, citizen:  Dis all probably "fake newz."  Every American who lost beloved parents or a spouse or significant other to the China virus has probably moved on.  The lockdowns that allowed many states to go to all-mail voting probably didn't influence the 2020 election much.  The economy has almost recovered from the lockdowns, so as Hilliary famously uttered, "At this point what difference could it possibly make" whether the virus was modified in a Chinese military lab and Fauci ordered the only known gene sequence deleted, eh?

But there's a deeper message here: The high-tech line shows the huge efforts China is making to bring precious electricity to its people.  

Interestingly, American companies used to go to the same huge efforts for American consumers.  But now the biden regime is passing RULES--not laws, but rules, decrees by unelected bureaucrats at the orders of the regime--that are effectively forcing utilities to shut down perfectly good coal-fired powerplants because they can't economically comply with new EPA rules.  Decrees.

Meanwhile the Chinese government completes the construction of TWO new coal-fired powerplants every WEEK.

Result: China's economy gets stronger, while the price Americans and our businesses pay for electricity will triple.  Already residents of northeastern states claim they're paying two or three times more for electricity than a year ago.  

But of course you won't hear about that on the networks, just on conservative sites on the Internet.  See, the networks will tell ya the folks claiming to be paying a lot more don't really know what they're paying.  Just like you can't be sure food prices are 25% higher than before the biden regime was installed.  You just think you're paying more.  But your memory is faulty cuz you're victims of "right-wing conspiracy theories"!

Or maybe it's because you have lots of more important things to worry about, like 8 million illegal aliens waltzing into the U.S. across our open border in the past three years, eh?  So it's to be expected that you're hazy on arcane things like the price of food and electricity.  Yeh, dat's it.

Late last week the sad news broke that Sports Illustrated was broke and stopping the mag.  The folks at the Babylon Bee immediately reached out to company execs for their thoughts.

Supreme Court rules 5-4 that biden border patrol may continue cutting the razor wire Texas troops have placed to defend U.S. border

For those who've been off-planet for three years, here's a recap: The Porridgebrain/mayorkas/garland/harris regime has thrown our borders wide open, inviting everyone around the world to enter the U.S., where they're immediately given a cell phone, thousands of dollars and a plane ticket to any city in the U.S.

Most Americans are sick of the $450 BILLION annual cost, not to mention the drugs and the deaths of Americans caused by illegals driving drunk.  So finally a month ago the governor of Texas ordered Texas state troopers to start laying razor wire along the U.S. bank of the Rio Grande at the most popular crossing spot.

The biden regime responded, first by ordering his border patrol to use *forklifts* to LIFT the fucking razor wire so duh invaders could simply walk under it.  And now the regime has ordered border patrol to CUT the wire.

Whereupon Texas sued the biden regime, arguing that since biden has consistently violated valid U.S. immigration law, Texas had the right to defend its own border.  If Arizona and New Mexico want to obey the regime like good sheep, letting the illegals waltz in thru their states, fine.

Last month a federal appeals court ordered federal agents to stop cutting the wire placed by Texas. Ooooh, can't have that, eh?  So the biden/garland/mayorkas regime immediately appealed to the f'n U.S. Supreme Court, wailing that the wire "impedes Border Patrol agents from reaching migrants as they cross the river," and that the federal government has SOLE AUTHORITY to enforce immigration law (or not to enforce, in this case).  So Texas can't be allowed to defend its borders from the tsunami of illegals biden is inviting into the U.S. every day--a record 302,000 in December alone.

Again, the court voted 5-4 to side with the biden regime--and its ORDER didn't include a single word of legal reasoning.  Think there may be a reason for that?

Up to speed now?  Hopefully all of you knew all of that, right?  No?  Oh well...

With the appeal by the regime, five moronic (three corrupt) judges on the damn U.S. Supreme Court just ruled (5-4) against the right of Texas to defend its borders against the invaders when the " " "preznit" " " has not only refused to do so, but has actually ordered his lackeys to cut the wire Texas placed to defend its own borders.

A decade ago this would have been unbelievable.  Now?  With so much corruption and lawlessness by the regime every day, American citizens barely even notice.

The SC now has four females on the court.  All four sided with the biden regime, effectively ruling that states do not have the right to defend their borders from foreign invaders when the regime refuses to do so:  moronic biden appointee Ketanji Brown Jackson (who could not say "what is a woman?"), Dem corruptocrats Elena Kagan and Sonia Sotomayor, and Trump appointee Amy Coney Barrett (showing you Trump got snookered by his advisors yet again; Barrett posed as a conservative but isn't.)

Four of the men on the court--all but one--voted against the regime, allowing Texas to defend itself.  The crucial, deciding fifth vote came from chief justice John Roberts, who has consistently supported Democrats, notably in DECREEING that the "individual mandate" of notorious Obozocare was a tax (which was the only way Obozocare could be constitutional) even though Obozo's own regime lawyers argued that it was NOT a tax.

SO...think all that's conspiracy talk?  Fake news?  Well it's from ABC, which is utterly, fawningly, slobberingly pro-Democrat, so....

The country is gone.  Gut-shot.  Dead.  And instead of defending our border, the biden regime is actively fighting any state efforts to reduce the massive invasion.

While some of the invaders are innocent (they help the ones who are cartel members, terrorists and ordinary thugs hide in the crowd), a huge number are hell-bent on smuggling drugs, murder, rape, robbery and acts of terrorism.  But because the Media fellates the Democrat party, the Media have helped the Dems couch the massive invasion as "Ohhh, those poor, poor, suffering pipo!  You mus' pay to hep dem!  An' don't worry if compassionate elites (Democrats and RINOs) give 'em duh right to vote, cuz...well, dat jus' a normal t'ing "residents" get to do, eh?

Now, when the auditors are coming to visit, and the day before they arrive the same employee deletes all those encrypted files, what does that tell ya?

Think the CFO is honest--or do ya think he's trying to keep you and the auditors from learning something he doesn't want anyone to know?

Again the answer should be obvious.

Now pay attention: In the 2022 mid-term elections the GOP won a razor-thin majority in the House. Last January all House members were sworn in and seated, the GOP started trying to figure out a ton of answers.  

Last August--seven months after being seated--House Republicans finally discovered that hundreds of files assembled by the Democrat-ruled committee "investigating the events at the Capitol on January 6, 2021," were somehow missing.  Those files included videos, recordings of interviews and depositions and other items.

It was suggested that the reason the files were missing was that the House J6 committee might have destroyed them after it issued its hair-on-fire report and disbanded in December 2022.  As you might have guesses, House rules require that all House records be preserved.  

Of course as we all know by now, Democrats laugh or sneer at rules, since they know no one will ever punish THEM for breaking any.  And the chair of the J6 committee, Rep. Bennie Thompson, bleated that "the rules of the House have been followed."

For the reading-challenged this means Thompson is implying that the records have been preserved, per House rules.  We clear on that?

So where the hell are those files, eh?  

House Republicans have just learned that the Democrats who ran the committee "investigating" the events of Jan.6 a) encrypted 115 files; and b) a day or two before the GOP was installed with their thin majority in the House, all 115 files were "mysteriously" deleted.

That tell ya anything, sparky?

Now the chair of the House GOP team investigating the disappearance (Barry Loudermilk) says 100 of the 115 encrypted files the Democrats "deleted" have been recovered, and that the GOP has demanded that Democrats provide the passwords to enable the files to be unencrypted.

Loudermilk alleges that a team of experts found that 115 files had been encrypted, and then that on January 1 of last year--just days before the Republicans officially took a razor-thin majority control in the House--all 115 encrypted files and two unencrypted ones were "mysteriously deleted."

The files are believe to contain interviews and depositions that could contradict what the Democrats' have claimed about events on that day.

Now, a rational person would think that an honest investigation of what the Democrats have repeatedly bleated and wailed is "the greatest threat to our precious democracy in our history" would carefully preserve every bit of information, deposition testimony and videos, as required by House rules, so historians could know what really happened on J6.  But the Democrats deliberately encrypted 115 of the crucial files, and then tried to delete all of 'em.
 
Now why do you suppose "someone" would encrypt 115 crucial files of testimony and then delete 'em, eh?  It's almost like they're covering something up.

So far over 1,200 people have been charged for J6, some of whom never even went in the Capitol building.  Some have been sentenced to as long as 22 years in prison, for doing essentially nothing.  The Democrats have tried to justify those outrageously long sentences on the grounds that this was a real threat to "our precious Democracy."  

That bleat was horseshit.

Many Republicans claim the Democrat-run committee "investigating" the events of Jan.6 was trying to reach a pre-determined conclusion to damage president Trump.

SO...where are we now?  Well, as noted above the Democrat who chaired House J6 committee is Bennie Thompson, and that the GOP has demanded that Thompson and Pelosi turn over the passwords to allow the crucial files to be unencrypted.

So...anyone wanna bet on whether the Dems comply?  Hell no they won't.  Every ***damn one of 'em will claim they either never knew or have forgotten.  And if the latter, no one can prove they're lying.  Care to bet?

These bastards laugh at so-called "rules."  They know they can break any rule with no punishment.  They know rules are for "little people" and Rethuglicans.  For them it's "Whatever we claim at this moment in time is duh law, an' if we decides that rule is keepin' us from doin' what we wanna do, we'll jus' claim dat 'rule' haz a exception no one knew about til just this moment, dat lets us do eggzackly whut we wanted to all along!"

Without the passwords, unencrypting the files will be almost impossible.  And if by amazing good luck some of the files are decrypted, and show numerous witnesses contradicting the public bleats of the Dems on the committee (and fake repub Liz Cheney), the Dems will claim the reconstruction can't be trusted.

Again: would any of my Democrat friends care to bet?

Now for the topper: Suppose the roles were reversed, and Republicans hold hearings on the brazen corruption of the entire biden family.  And suppose the GOP committee  did exactly what the Dems have done: encrypt 115 key files, and then delete 'em.  And the Dems win control of the House and demand the passwords, but the GOP claims they didn't ever know.  How many months would the Mainstream Media scream about this outrage, eh?

Next they'll be claiming the biden regime NEVER ordered working Americans to take the jab.  "NOOooo, we merely SUGGESTED that good Americans take the vaccine!  Merely a "suggestion."  If you chose to take it, you knew it was experimental, for "emergency use only," and you freely chose to take it!  So we take no responsibility at ALL."

After that they'll claim no wokie Dem-ruled school board EVER demanded that your five-year-old had to have taken the jab in order to let him attend school!  "NOOooo, it was merely a suggestion!  See, we said "good parents" would eagerly get their precious children vaccinated, and that anyone who refused hated their kids and was willing to see them die!  So obviously all good parents obeyed our 'suggestion,' eh?  So if there are any adverse effects in the future, it's absolutely NOT our fault!"

The story from communist NPR:

Your Democrat rulers constantly bleat about how faaaabulous wind energy is, right?  So in Oklahoma (and many other states) wind-energy companies went to land owners and paid 'em for permission to install wind turbines on their land.

Totally normal and legal.  

After securing those leases the wind companies installed over 80 wind turbines, at a huge cost.

Now a corrupt federal judge has ordered that all those must be torn down.  And the legal reasoning (sic) behind the DECREE will tell you a great deal about what's happened to the legal system.

The ruling stems from the fact that back in 1906 the Osage tribe was given the mineral rights to the area in question.  In normal parlance that means that the royalties from any oil, gas, coal or other minerals produced from that land would go to the tribe instead of to the surface landowner.  Totally normal.

But the tribe--seeing an opportunity to extort cash from the company that installed the windmills--sued, claiming that when the company built the foundations for the windmills, they dug into the surface. (NPR says "blasted" cuz that term is a psychological trigger.)  The biden regime, representing the tribe,  claimed digging a foundation was legally "mining," which required the permission of the tribe.

Here's how wokie NPR described it:

The ruling also applies to the rocks and soil underground.  The wind farm companies argued they didn't need permission because their turbines are above ground. But wind turbines need a foundation, and in court, lawyers for the federal government and the Osage showed a video blasting rock for that foundation.

Didja catch that?  "Lawyers for the federal gruberment..."  The biden regime argued for the ludicrous notion that digging a foundation was "mining."

Since the company never paid the tribe for the right to install the concrete foundations for the windmills--which a federal judge absurdly agreed was "mining"--he DECREED that all the windmills must be torn down.

Now "mining" has a long and well-known meaning.  Obviously building a foundation has never been considered "mining" since it extracts nothing.  If building a foundation was considered "mining" every land-owner who built a home would have had to ask the tribe for permission to build their foundation and dig for water and sewer lines, eh?  (That's next.)

If digging into the soil (but NOT extracting anything) is "mining," then so is farming, eh?

And yet a goofy, wokie federal judge DECREED that building a foundation IS "mining," and so has ordered the company that installed the "wind-farm" to tear 'em all down.

Now: Obviously the company that installed the windmills has invested tens of millions in the project (without looking my guess would be on the order of $50 million).  So not only would tearing 'em down wipe out that investment, my guess is that tearing down over 80 of 'em would cost the company an extra ten million or so.  So now the tribe has the company over a barrel, and unless it can beg the tribe to settle, it's looking at a net loss of probably $60 million or so.

The tribe's lawsuit is clearly an attempt to warp the law beyond all recognition to extort money from the company that installed the windmills.  And it worked!  The company will now be forced by a goofy federal judge to pay the tribe a million dollars or so to retroactively give the company permission to "mine" to install the foundations, to avoid losing $60 million.

Now: Except for the utterly predictable damage to the rule of law by this goofy federal judge, I love this!  A "woke" company saw a way to make money from a crazy federal law called "PURPA" (look it up) by installing over 80 windmills.  And then the same wokie stupidity that induced 'em to invest that money is now biting 'em in the ass.

For uneducated Americans:  Wokiez bleat that electricity produced by windmills is less expensive than electricity produced by conventional sources.  That's a brazen lie: It's actually *far more expensive.*  The only reason companies do wind-farms is because decades ago the wokiez in the Dem party rammed thru a LAW that forced every electric utility to buy electricity from wind-farms at a far higher price than the average.  

And of course who paid the legally-forced higher amount?

If you don't instantly know, you're too stupid to understand any of this.

SO...prediction:  The company will pay the Osage tribe over a million bucks for retroactive permission to "mine."  As NPR wraps it, "A court will determine if the company must compensate the Osage Nation for use of the material they dug up more than a decade ago."

Mayorkas: "Duh border is totally secure." Yesterday *biden* said "It's NOT." Who's right?

Alejander Mayorkas is biden's hand-picked head of the damn "Department of Homeland Security," and has told Americans hundreds of times--on video--that "The southern border is *totally* secure!"  And no one in the Mainstream Media contradicted him.

Until yesterday, when Porridgebrain told reporters the US-Mexico border is NOT secure.

Mayorkas, whose DHS is responsible for border security, has repeatedly outraged conservatives by claiming “the border is totally secure” even as record numbers of foreigners were illegally entering the U.S. by simply walking across the open, undefended border.

So which is it, Democrats?  You gonna back your " " "president" " ", or his hand-picked Cuban DHS chief?  *Pick one.*
 
Of course Porridgebrain's handlers may well "walk back" (i.e. contradict) his statement--which they often do.  So tomorrow the Media will parrot the handlers' claim that biden "misunderstood the question" or some such.

After Porridgebrain bleated that he *really, really wanted to fix the border,* he went on to blame House Republicans for the tsunami of illegals crossing every day: "Are they ready to act as well?” Biden said.

Biden's sudden *stated willingness* to get tough on illegal immigration only comes after repeated polls have shown only 20% of voters approve of his border policy of allowing everyone to enter and remain--which got worse after December saw an all-time high in illegal entries, capping a similar record for the whole year.

For the record: biden has no intention of closing the border.  Instead he's simply bleating that he wants to, to stop the bleeding of his approval rating.  He's blaming House Republicans for supposedly being unable to do anything to stop illegal immigration, hoping the Media will force the House to cave to his demands to send another $80 billion to Ukraine as the price for engaging in *talks* to tighten border security.

And of course the corrupt RINOs in the House will take the bait.

Well the faaabulous meeting of the elites of the World Economic Forum in Davos has ended, and 400 private jets are flying back to their usual hangars.  The elites who eagerly beat you up for driving your gas-powered Honda happily sip Scotch as their private jets whisk them back to their elite universities and NGO roosts.

Of all contemptible, vile people, few are as horrible as the WEF/Davos crowd:  Smug elitists pretending they know things, posing as  saviours of the planet!  The absolute worst people. One honest farmer is worth more than the entire lot.

Unless you keep up with these assholes (spoiler: you don't) you don't know what they've demanded that you do:  For one, that you stop eating meat, and switch to mealworms.

Oh, you think that's a joke?  Nope, they've explicitly said you "need to do that."  You just don't hear about that in the Mainstream Media cuz that would cause too many people to take pitchforks and gasoline to the whole bunch.

Arizona and California have already explicitly stated that voters in their states don't need to provide any proof of citizenship to vote for federal offices.  Seriously.  And it's almost too late for the GOP to take that outrageous absurdity to the Supreme Court for an emergency injunction.  So those states are free to steal the election--and they will.

California doesn't matter much, since they've been big-majority-Dem for decades.  But Arizona is one of the six "swing states" that are able to decide presidential elections.  (If you don't know all six, look 'em up.)

"And so it goes," eh?  Democrats steal the election while good, hard-working, honest Americans quietly submit and hope they won't be jailed for 22 YEARS for criticizing the regime.

Starting in 50 days the biden regime DECREES most "independent contractor" jobs won't be legal

Over 70 million Americans are so-called "gig workers"--independent contractors, freelancers. They set their own hours to work when they want, for whoever they want, usually several different employers.  They like it because it offers them flexibility--mainly working when you don't have other demands on your time, like parenting, or a 9-to-5 job that doesn't pay what you need.

Examples include Uber drivers, freelance writers, bar musicians, realtors and partners in law firms.  Companies liked independent contractors because the laws FORCING companies to provide health insurance, higher-paid overtime and retirement benefits to employees didn't apply to independents, so companies saved money.

So for 70 million Americans, and companies, independent contractors are great.  But to a totalitarian regime what's good for citizens often won't be allowed.  In this case the biden regime is issuing the RULE because of two things: The first is called the "withholding tax."  The second is labor unions.

Many young Americans don't know what the withholding tax is.  For them I'll explain: it's a diabolically clever way for the IRS to ensure everyone pays their taxes: The LAW forces employers to withhold 20% or so of an employee's wages, and to pay that amount to the IRS as often as every two weeks.  

A company with lots of employees has to pay those taxes to the IRS every two weeks, to the penny.  The law even forces the self-employed to pay this "withholding"  Even poor self-employed people who earn less than $20,000 a year are required by law to pay 15 to 20% of their "nominal" salary to the IRS every quarter, with huge penalties for failing to obey.

The difference is that while a big company does all the collection and paying FOR the IRS (by taking the money out of your paycheck), "independent contractors" (who are considered self-employed) have to make those payments themselves.  And inevitably, some don't.

The regime sees money there.  Problem is, how can they get it?  And finally they've figured out a way:  Issue a federal DECREE banning almost all "independent contractors."

So the regime has passed a RULE (decree) like the LAW the Peoples' Republic of California passed three years ago, essentially decreeing that no one can be a "contract employee" unless they pay millions in "campaign donations" to the Democrats.

Naturally you think I'm kidding, cuz unless you're a gig worker in Cali you never heard of this outrageous law, or biden's DECREE.  But you're about to, cuz beginning March 11th the regime is adopting the California law, with virtually no changes.

Between now and the start date of the new DECREE is just 50 days.  How many Americans will have time to find a new job in that time, or save enough for the month or so needed to find a new one?  And what INSANE, tyrannical despot would throw people into that situation??

On March 11th the new DECREE from biden's Department of Labor--with the explicit approval of the regime strategists--will virtually eliminate 70 MILLION "independent contract workers" who depend on part-time work to support their families.  

Of course if you're not one of those, you couldn't care less, eh?

But if you like, say, Uber, you may be thinking "It's outrageous that the Democrats would simply DECREE that up to 70 million Americans can no longer be independent contractors.  How can this happen in a supposedly free country?  And why did Cali have to pass a LAW to do it, but the Dems running the federal gummint can just do it by DECREE?"

Hahahahahaha!  Figured it out, did ya?

The new biden/Labor DECREE (which they soothingly call a regulation or rule cuz it sounds so much nicer than "order" or decree, eh?) will force companies to hire workers who are now freelancers as regular employees, increasing the company's costs.  And of course who ultimately pays those higher costs, eh?

You do.

So by this decree the regime turns millions of former gig workers into regular employees, so employers will take taxes out of their paychecks and promptly send that cash to the IRS, as happens with all regular employees.  That's good for the biden regime.

But another party gets an even bigger benefit: Biden's union supporters.  See, virtually all big companies are unionized, and in states that don't have "right to work" laws, all employees are required to pay union dues even if they don't join the union.

Multiply $50 bucks a month times 70 million new union members and you get $3.5 BILLION more for the unions EVERY MONTH.  Some of that money buys a fancier Mercedes for union officials, of course, but tens of millions of dollars every month will go right to the Democrat party.  That's a LOT of money.

Starting to see the real goal yet?

Biden's handlers have directed this RULE to give his Big Labor supporters more money.  LOTS more.  He promised unions that he'd pass a monstrosity called the "Protect the Right to Organize Act" (H.R.20) which would nullify ALL state "right to work" laws, forcing all workers to join the union; allow leaders of striking unions to call for members of other unions to strike, to force companies to surrender ("secondary strikes"), and would bar companies from suing for that kind of interference.  It would also force elections on whether to unionize to be open-ballot, meaning anyone voting no would be known.

Biden promised to be the “most pro-union president you’ve ever seen,” but since his handlers haven't been able to pass HR-20 this DECREE will keep the union bosses supporting him, rewarding all those campaign donations.

And the regime is ordering the DECREE even though it will clobber the economy thru higher costs.  Also, since companies can't afford to hire all the people who were former contract workers, many of those former independent contractors will lose their current income.  But hey, you ain't them, so...

The Biden administration is trying to sell its new DECREE as "protecting workers" by forcing companies to give 'em regular benefits like health insurance, mandatory overtime pay and paid time off.  And certainly those who are hired may love the tradeoff of no longer being able to work when they want but getting new benefits.

The point is, they won't have the choice they now have.  But hey, you ain't them, so...

The biden regime has decided it’s better to take choices away from Americans in order to give labor unions $3 billion more every month.

The push to force almost all workers as employees (AB 5) was started in California by the owners of taxi companies.  All their drivers were clearly employees, which made their costs a lot higher, so they had to charge more in fares.  The folks who founded Uber and Lyft realized that by letting people drive (and maintain) their own cars and work when they wanted, they could charge a LOT less--which turned out to be absolutely true.

Losing money, the taxi company owners realized the best defense would be to either put the upstarts out of business, or at least force 'em to make independent drivers regular employees, eliminating the price advantage.  The gave a few well-placed checks to the Dem pols who rule the Cali "assembly," and AB 5 sailed thru.

Interestingly, biden’s acting secretary of Labor, Julie Su, was in charge of labor and "workforce bureaucracy" for the Democrat government of California.

Oh wait...did I say "sailed through"?  Even though most of the people hurt by the law had no power at all, turns out two VERY powerful groups in the state also opposed the bill before it passed: Realtors, and...wait for it...partners in law firms.

They objected, and with the help of a few million in well-placed campaign donations the final bill exempted them from being classed as employees.  It was a miracle, eh?

The new DECREE--again, slated to take effect in just 50 days--has already triggered its first lawsuit, filed this week by a group of freelance editors and writers who fear a loss of work due to the rule.

Which was the exact effect of AB 5.  But you aren't them, so....

Corrupt A-G garland refuses to set a date past which his department won't start a trial of Trump

In past years the corrupt department of injustice has had a policy of not filing charges against a presidential nominee or putting such a candidate on trial "close" to the election.  Watch this short (less than two minute) video of accomplished liar Merrick Garland--who also happens to be biden's hand-picked attorney-general.

Garland is being interviewed by a CNN reporter.  The serious fix starts to appear 50 seconds in, when the interviewer says asks garland about the DOJ policy noted above, and asks if there is a date past which garland would NOT start a trial of Trump.

Watch the motherf*cking son of a bitch refuse to answer the simple question. 

Easy question.  garland refuses to answer--so that if he starts a trial 40 days before the election, no one can say "Hey, you said policy was NOT to do this within three months of an election, and yet..."

If the son of a bitch had said "Yes, we won't begin a trial for Trump closer than two months before the election" everyone would recognize that this was a deliberate effort to rig the election for the Democrats--as of course it would be.

New York Fed reports manufacturing in that state has dropped like a rock; "free fall"

Duh economy beez BOOMING, deplorables!

At least dat whut duh NY Times and duh alphabet networks sez, eh?  So mus' be true, eh?

So we're not sure how this piece from two days ago fits the puzzle:  "Factory activity in New York suffered an unexpected collapse in January."

This is a bit odd because the report--a regular survey by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York--was issued on Jan 16th, so barely halfway through the month.

The Fed’s manufacturing survey showed that sector contracted sharply in January, plunging 29.2 points so far, from negative 14 to negative 43.7.  The Fed called it a "free fall."

Economists had predicted the index would rise to from the December reading of negative 14.5 to a negative 4.7.  And economists know the regime doesn't want bad news, eh?

Readings below zero indicate worsening conditions.
