Scary video. But what it *really* shows is worse

What is this vid showing ya?  (Click on the link for vid.)

You're seeing a seemingly fearless worker walking along a high-voltage powerline hundreds of feet above a valley, so understandably that's your focus. 

But there's a deeper message here: The high-tech line shows the huge efforts China is making to bring precious electricity to its people.  

Interestingly, American companies used to go to the same huge efforts for American consumers.  But now the biden regime is passing RULES--not laws, but rules, decrees by unelected bureaucrats at the orders of the regime--that are effectively forcing utilities to shut down perfectly good coal-fired powerplants because they can't economically comply with new EPA rules.  Decrees.

Meanwhile the Chinese government completes the construction of TWO new coal-fired powerplants every WEEK.

Result: China's economy gets stronger, while the price Americans and our businesses pay for electricity will triple.  Already residents of northeastern states claim they're paying two or three times more for electricity than a year ago.  

But of course you won't hear about that on the networks, just on conservative sites on the Internet.  See, the networks will tell ya the folks claiming to be paying a lot more don't really know what they're paying.  Just like you can't be sure food prices are 25% higher than before the biden regime was installed.  You just think you're paying more.  But your memory is faulty cuz you're victims of "right-wing conspiracy theories"!

Or maybe it's because you have lots of more important things to worry about, like 8 million illegal aliens waltzing into the U.S. across our open border in the past three years, eh?  So it's to be expected that you're hazy on arcane things like the price of food and electricity.  Yeh, dat's it.
