Democrats and the Media want you to call sexual mutilation of children "gender-AFFIRMING surgery"

People who are acting honestly, doing the right thing, are perfectly willing to do it in broad daylight, in front of video cameras.

Conversely, people who are doing wrong, and know it, usually don't want others to know what they're up to, eh?

So...to help defend the people doing wrong, their allies change the language, so naive Amerians can't tell what they're really doing.

For example, consider what's often euphemistically called "sex-change surgery."  People who know what it really is call it "child mutilation.'  But by sharp contrast, every Mainstream Media outlet uses the term "gender-AFFIRMING care," or sometimes "gender-AFFIRMING surgery."

This cunning tactic--using a reassuring, innocuous name for something that is anything but--is a favorite of the Left, and they're always succesful in getting crucial leftist media outlets to support them.  Thus in a recent article by the Associated Press on doctors at prestigious Vanderbilt University performing genital mutilation on children, the AP described it this way:

“Vanderbilt to review gender-affirming surgeries for minors”  

    “Officials at Vanderbilt University Medical Center announced that they are pausing gender-affirming surgeries for minors in order to review their practices.” 

The  piece used that same term seven times.

The goal is to get all readers to NOT grasp that these operations involve cutting out healthy tissue from children as young as 15.  Insane.  But normal procedure for the Left...and their media allies.
