Seems lots of Leftists are miffed that the assassination attempt on Trump didn't succeed.

If you're a young American you don't know Leftists view history as an endless series of battles between themselves and "reactionary forces."  Those confrontations range from mobs in the street (allegedly protesting for "free speech!"--at least for them) to violent riots, to pure terrorism--all of which the Left cunningly blames on "society" for not giving them everything they demand.

The Left won't be satisfied until all conservatives and "reactionaries" are killed or submit.  If you don't believe that, you've never met a dedicated leftist.  Assassinating a presidential candidate the left hates is simply a means to that end.

For almost nine years nearly every Democrat politician, media outlet and cultural force has consistently screamed that Trump "threatens the very core of our precious democracy," and thus must be stopped by any means.

Over those nine years the Democrat party and the Left have tried every possible way to stop Trump from being re-elected--from weaponizing the "justice" system, to street violence, to urging Dem-ruled state courts to keep Trump's name off their state's ballot.

Given this well-demonstrated history of the Left--stop Trump at any cost--would the same Mainstream Media and Democrats who bleated that the violent BLM riots were really “mostly peaceful” shy away from trying to assassinate Trump?  Of course not.

If there is anything that the Democrats have demonstrated over the years, it’s that they don’t believe any value, principle or safeguard matters more than preventing Trump from winning in November.

A movement that praises the vandalizing of art treasures, ending the use of oil and gas, killing babies and destroying capitalism for the greater good would hardly quibble with the assassination of their nemesis, eh?

Every legal and moral code has been made subservient to what the Democrats claim is "the right side of history" (i.e. leftism). The ends of "transforming society" and "saving the planet from duh dread 'climate change'"  always justify the means.

Violence is a means to that end.  To leftists, violence is not inherently wrong but instead is perfectly fine--depending on which side is using it:  To Leftists, violence by their side is always good.

You've never heard a leftist regret leftist violence, because to do that would be to betray The Cause.

Liberals claim Trump is Hitler.  And if you believe that, killing him would be totally justified, eh?  The only Republican presidential candidates the Left doesn't wanna kill are fake conservatives like Mitt Romney.

The greatest lie that leftists tell themselves is that they are violent only as a reaction. Someone--whether "society," an economic system, human nature or whatever--always started it by "oppressing" them, and they’re just fighting back, eh?

In France, leftists rioted before and after they won the election. Why riot after you’ve won? Because violence is both the means to victory and the ultimate purpose of victory. Out of power, leftists riot.  In power they imprison or kill opponents.

Many Leftists in both politics and the Mainstream Media claim Trump wasn’t even hit by a bullet, but by "glass shards from one of the teleprompters."  Others--including some academics--bleat that if there was a shot, it was staged.

The Left understands the power of symbolism. It can't command the tides, nor change the human heart, but it understands how to get what it wants, even if a few million need to be killed to accomplish that end.
