Leftist "comedian" again says he'd welcome a recession cuz it would help defeat Trump
Last night Bill Maher -- a multimillionaire with his own TV show, who some think is a comedian--doubled down on his claim that an economic recession (i.e. job losses for millions) would be worth it if it would enable Democrats to defeat Trump in 2020.
"You should wish for a recession because that would definitely get [Trump] unelected," said Maher.
Another guest gave Maher a chance to retract, saying "You don't really want a recession."
"I really do," Maher replied. "We have survived many recessions, we can't survive another Donald Trump term."
It's as if these people were saying "We're eager for you or your kids or your parents to lose their job in order to win the presidency for Democrats." Think about that. People like Maher and Engel are so eager to win control that they'll happily sacrifice you or anyone else.
Interesting.

Another guest--NBC News correspondent Richard Engel-- agreed with Maher, saying "Short-term pain might be better than long-term destruction of the Constitution."
Of course Engel forgets that the president who destroyed the Constitution was Obama, making laws by executive order, and violating the Constitution's order that the president "faithfully enforce the laws."
Interesting.
