Another win: latina public defender running for DA in Queens, endorsed by AOC. Wait...

In a classic political battle for the Democrat nomination for District Attorney for Queens, New York, a young (31) latina public defender--backed by Democrat darling Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez--ran against a more moderate Democrat.  (In Queens, the winner of the Dem nomination is almost guaranteed to win the general election.)

With AOC's backing, the race looked like a winner for the young public defender.  The fact that she was also a lesbian was considered another big plus.

Going into the primary the young challenger looked like a shoe-in.  And AOC's endorsement seemed to seal the win.

She lost--but only by 55 votes.  Frankly I'd demand a recount, cuz with all those qualifications she should have won by a landslide, just like Hilliary.
