I ask a moonbat, Which causes more murders here each year: Assault rifles or illegal aliens?

Leftist moonbat:  "Most gun murders are done by racist right-wing nuts with assault rifles! No one needs a rifle for self-defense!  So Congress needs to BAN all assault rifles!!!"

Me:  "On average, how many people are murdered each year by shooters firing assault rifles?"

Moonbat:  "What?

Me:  "On average, how many people are killed per year by nuts firing assault rifles?"

Moonbat:  "Uhh...it doesn't matter."

Me:  "But your entire premise is that more people are killed by assault rifles than by other weapons.  So surely you have some stats to back that up, right?  Otherwise we might think you just made that up."

Moonbat: "Uhh....[crickets]"

Me:  "Okay, evidently that's an unfair question, so let's try an easier one:  Do nuts with assault rifles kill more people than, say, illegal aliens?"

Moonbat:  "Why of course the do!!  What a dumb question!  Chris Cuomo and Chris Hayes and Rachel Maddow assure us that undocumented Americans break fewer laws than American citizens.  Besides, there's no such thing as an illegal human!

Me:  "Okay, so would you guess assault rifles kill, say, three times more people than illegal aliens?"

Moonbat:  "Oh, absolutely.

Me: "Okay, so if I showed you the figures without telling you which was which, you wouldn't have any trouble knowing which total matched which cause, eh?"

Moonbat:  "Absolutely."

Me:  "Here ya go then.    [Can readers pick which is which?]

Moonbat:  "Obviously the assault-rifle bar is the one on the left."

Me:  "Thanks for proving my point.  The average number of Americans killed by ALL rifles--not just assault rifles--is 328 per year.  Illegal aliens murder over 4100 Americans per year--14 times more than are killed by ALL rifles combined."

Moonbat:  "That's not fair!  You aren't allowed to use facts when discussing assault weapons!
