Wanna ensure deportation raids fail? Easy: Tell the Media the day they're gonna happen.

One of the most basic principles of military tactics is, if you plan to attack, don't tell your target about those plans.

This would seem so obvious and uncontroversial as to not need elaboration.  It's common sense.

So why in the world would ICE ("Immigration and Customs Enforcement") announce an operation to deport illegals four days before the removal operation is scheduled to take place?

Can you say "incomparably dumb"?  Can you say "designed to fail"?  Can you say..."Deep State"?

Yeah, thought you could.  Operatives for the Deep State--the anti-Trump "resistance"--announced this because a) they want to give illegals time to flee, to avoid deportation; b) if most flee, and can't be located, the tiny number of apprehensions make the Trump administration look incompetent, which is likely to reduce the desire of his supporters to turn out in 2020; c) knowing the scheduled date of the operation enables the mainstream media to pre-position camera crews, giving lotsa' dramatic video of screaming kids as their illegal-alien parents are handcuffed.

Of course you think this is conspiracy-theory stuff; that no one in government would warn the illegal community of the day of the operation to deport them.

Oh, sure.  The Deep-Stater simply says "We're just being totally transparent."

And there ya go.  "Transparency" is a great notion.  Except when you're trying to round up invaders who have ignored court-ordered deportation--sometimes for years.

But hey, citizen:  If you want the government to enforce court orders, you must be a raaaacist!

You don't want people to think you're raaacist, do ya?  Nah, didn't think so.  So sit down and shut up.

And don't go looking for the person who told the Media the date of the operation.  That would be mean.
