Amazon removes Orwell's "1984" and "Animal Farm" from its list of books for sale, cuz...

San Francisco--  Amazon has quietly removed George Orwell's dystopian novel "1984" and his satirical "Animal Farm" from its list of books offered for sale.

Spokespersons for the company initially claimed they were unaware of the removal, but later admitted that this was indeed true.  The spokespersons explained that both books violated Amazon's policy on "hate speech," as both reflected the author's opposition to socialism.

When asked why Amazon would consider opposition to socialism "hate speech" the spokespersons said "Isn't it obvious?  Why would you ask such a dumb question?  Say, you're not one of those far-right, Trump-loving capitalists, are you?"
