A Culture in Collapse

American civilization has been turned upside down, and we're on a collision course with the once unthinkable and unimaginable.

The last three years have seen ample evidence of the collapse of American society.  The signs are everywhere, in politics (election fraud), the economy, "education," pop culture, foreign policy, the military and more.

The collapse is almost exclusively the result of what's cunningly called "progressive" policies.

It's hard to believe any rational American would want to destroy our society, but the Left clearly believes the only way to reach the nirvana of socialism and "equity" is by destroying all prior norms and customs.  And that's what they're doing.  Let's look:

Financial collapse:

Interest rates have soared from half a percent  to approaching 5%.  If you're an 18-year-old American you have no idea what that means, because the public schools thought it more important to teach you the wonders of gays and trannies instead of compound interest.

What it means is that this year taxpayers will have to pay over a TRILLION dollars just in the interest on the the nation's $34 TRILLION debt.  And that's just the beginning: it's gonna get way worse, since five percent annual interest on $34 TRILLION is $1.7 Trillion per year.

Feel free to confirm that on your calculators.

Young American: "Is a trillion dollars a lot?"

Great question!  Paying that required interest will consume about a fifth of the entire federal budget--more than the total we spend on the military.

So how did the biden regime react to this reality?

Well last year your moronic """president""" signed laws ordering spending of nearly $2 trillion more than the government took in in taxes and other fees.

In other words, the government borrowed an *extra* two trillion bucks just in the year just ended.  How...interesting.

Ask your parents.  Not one in a HUNDRED has the faintest idea about any of this, even though it's all in the "public domain" (i.e. public record).

How can this be fixed?  The Left wants to force people to pay more in taxes.  Problem is, even today in many states the total of fed and state taxes is now more than half one’s income.

Leftists--like emperor barack--just shrug:  "We want a massive 'redistribution of wealth,' by forcing workers to pay to support po' folk.  And if you don't like it, shut up!"

Military Crises

This alone would be 4,000 words.  As Russia massed tanks and 150,000 troops on the border with Ukraine, why did "your" """president""" explicitly tell Russia that we wouldn't react if any "incursion" (cunning word, eh?) was "limited."  It was a clear green light to invade.

Almost all branches of the military are failing to meet their recruitment targets.  Why?  Well, biden's Secretary of Defense is a corrupt, incompetent black who inexplicably got promoted to 4-star rank despite no heroism.  And biden's *Deputy* SecDef is a female who couldn't be bothered to return from her vacay in Puerto Rico when her boss went into the ICU for three days.

Really competent, right?  Not even close.

Why do armed forces working for Iran attack U.S. bases almost every day now?  Clearly they're not worried about reprisal, eh?  What made the "leaders" of Hamas believe they could invade Israel and slaughter 1,200 Israeli civilians on October 7 without devastating reprisal, eh?

Simple: biden's clear contempt for Israel--as Obama showed earlier--led Hamas to believe biden would demand that any Israeli reprisal be limited.  And they were right.  It's to the credit of the Israeli government that they've chosen to win instead of declare a truce.

Under the biden/harris regime the Pentagon has abolished fitness requirements for recruits (to allow women and trannies to be accepted), forced troops to use "preferred pronouns," made promotions contingent on race, gender, and sexual orientation rather than merit or battlefield skill.  And what effect?

You already guessed.

One of the huge weaknesses of the military of the former Soviet Union was a class called "political officer," attached to every unit.  That person was a Party apparatchik, charged with ensuring that every member was loyal to the party.  That's exactly what we've got now, just without the formal title.

Why did the biden regime force every member of the military to take the unsafe, ineffective vax, and discharge any who refused?

Hint: It was a test of obedience.  Anyone who refused was a danger to the regime, thus fired.

It used to be common medical knowledge that if you had a disease--say measles--you had "natural immunity," which was even better than a vaccination.  But oddly, when it came to duh China virus the biden regime totally rejected that well-known principle.  Hmmm...

For a couple of centuries the Roman Empire was maintained by competent troops.  But near the end the military became...politicized, and incompetent.

Race

Why, after Americans had elected a half-black emperor, did the Left order racially segregated dorms, graduation ceremonies and "safe spaces" (no whites allowed)?  

Who ordered that race and sex be deemed more important than competence?  Who came up with the absurd (but seductive) notion that “diversity is our strength”?

"Gender-bending"

Who would have imagined the Left would be so crazy as to push the absurd notion that 5-year-olds were mature enough to decide to become sterile by taking cross-sex hormones?

Who would have believed that leftists, gays and feminists would have demanded (yes, *demanded*) that the nation allow biological males to compete against females in women’s sports?

Who would have believed that accomplished female athletes would be physically assaulted for daring to state the obvious: that males pretending to be women are still, in terms of their musculoskeletal physiques, males, and that it's clearly unfair to allow them to compete in women’s sports?

Lawlessness

Although the law as we knew it just a decade ago technically exists, corrupt leftist DA's have stopped enforcing it.  Massive looting by "specially-protected classes" is now routine in Democrat jurisdictions, and not prosecuted.

Daylight smash-and-grab robberies are so common as to not even make the nightly news.  DA's charge employees and security guards if they dare to impede the looters, cuz duh looters are...protected.

Pro-Hamas protestors have shut down the Manhattan and Golden Gate Bridges, blocked the entrances to numerous big-city airports and shut down dozens of Interstate highways--and the biden regime does nothing.

It's obvious to everyone that we now have two sets of laws, and that which set is imposed on you depends on your political party and race.  But one of the huge breakthroughs by our Founders was that "all men are equal under the law," eh?  But no longer.

In one of the most chilling videos in memory, a violent felon with three prior convictions, facing a sentence before a female judge in Las Vegas, didn't like the result and leaped over the bench to violently attack her.

Given the felon's violent record, why was he  walking around on parole?  And why was he not shackled in court?  The insane leniency--commanded by the Left--shows how protected groups get special treatment.  

Leftist judges undermine the law, and no one bats an eye.  We've become a scared, feeble society.

Meanwhile three state prosecutors and one special federal counsel—all leftists and some previously bragging in their own election campaigns of their intention to destroy Trump—have charged candidate Trump with an array of felonies.  Most Americans agree Trump would never have been so charged had he been a liberal Democrat.

Education

In ancient times, the president of Harvard was an accomplished scholar and intellectual.  Thus it was a shock when Harvard's board named as president a black female of no academic distinction at all.

There are lots of brilliant blacks.  Gay isn't one of 'em.  Her "qualifications" to be named president of Harvard were that she was a black female.  It was more important to the members of the governing board to look "woke" than to name a respected scientist to the post.

If you doubt this, consider that plagiarism by students results in suspension or explusion.  Professors who write papers know copying without attribution gets you fired.  But when Hahvahd was confronted with example after example of their new president having violated this rule, instead of investigating and firing her, they circled the wagons: it was more important to them to defend their "wokie" appointment than to apply those silly "rules" that apply to students and white male professors.

Confronted with the irrefutable evidence, Harvard's board, its legal team and 700 faculty members tried to laugh it off, instead wailing that those who criticized her were...wait for it...raaaacist.  They try to pretend no academic  ever got fired for what she did.

Harvard students were divided: a group of honors students demanded she be fired, while others saw nothing unusual.  Interesting.

Revealing.

In less than five years the nation's "elite" universities dropped the SAT as an entrance requirement, replaced merit with "die-versity" oaths and pledges, and ended up mirroring the communist party of the Soviet Union.  And they're not backing down a bit.  Instead, after the recent Supreme Court decision, consulting firms are advising colleges on how to admit by DEI without being seen as doing so.

How these elite universities trashed themselves in a mere five years will baffle historians for decades to come.

The End of Sovereignty

Under the biden/Mayorkas regime the southern border has ceased to exist. The regime has deliberately violated federal immigration law, and by next January will have allowed some 10 million illegal entries into the U.S., unscreened and unvetted.  It's then used tax dollars to fly tens of thousands of those illegals to cities far from the border

As long as the illegals stayed in the border states, Democrat pols were fine with it.  But after the governors of Texas and Arizona began busing loads to Chicago and NYC, suddenly Democrats decided maybe demanding open borders had a couple of drawbacks after all.

So illegals were fine with Dems when far off, but when they began to have to deal with illegals in their own states, even Democrats started to see the light.  

And now it's too late to kick anyone out because...wait for it...we can't find 'em.  So we now have 8 million new "entitlement recipients"--soon to be ten million--increasing government spending--and borrowing.

Think the gruberment won't raise taxes on you deplorables?  Think they'll just raise taxes on the rich?  That's what the Democrats bleat, anyway.  Anyone wanna bet?

Y'know what the income-tax rate was on "normal" income when that law was passed?

One percent.

Know how long it stayed at that level?

Two-and-a-half years.  Know what happened then?

The tax rate *doubled.*  Once they got their foot in the door, eh?



In the America described by the Media, Joe Biden is mentally and physically great.  Neither he nor Hunty have done anything wrong.  The Media swoon over people like trannies Dylan Mulvaney, Rachel ("Richard") Levine and the cross-dressing, luggage-stealing Sam Brinton.

The Media claim Karine Jean-Pierre is truthful and Alejandro Mayorkas is honest; that George Floyd was totally innocent and murdered, his death proof of systemic police racism.

The Media claim defunding the police brought calm and quiet, in exactly the way our border is secure and most homeless are victims of capitalism instead of willful drug addiction and mental illness.

The Media claim our rout from Afghanistan was actually a well-organized, orderly retreat; that January 6 was an armed insurrection, preplanned by fiery conspirators and revolutionaries.

They claim Kamala Harris is a skilled speaker; that Trump colluded with Putin to steal the 2016 election; that hunty biden's abandoned laptop was a fake--"Russian disinformation"--but Christopher Steele’s fictitious "dossier" on Trump--paid for by Hilliary's campaign--was "mostly true."  (Define "mostly")

Given all of the above, is it any wonder Iran,  Russia, the communist Chinese, the Houthis, Hezbollah and Hamas now think the United States is easy pickin's?

Was Iran friendlier after biden unilaterally lifted the economic sanctions carefully-negotiated with other western nations?

Our nation is a pale ghost of what it was four years ago, and my guess is we'll soon have a deadly collision with the consequences of corrupt and foolish "leaders."
