Why do previously-successful societies collapse?
For decades historians have debated why previously successful societies have collapsed.
One reason that seems to be common to all is that the leaders descended into fantasies. And when leaders do that, their eager followers will agree with them to be part of the "in-crowd." If enough people do that, the society becomes incapable of dealing with real challenges--i.e. reality: The collective denial of reality prevents anyone from even mentioning--let alone seriously discussing--existential threats and possible solutions.
That's been happening in the U.S. for the past 33 months. The Porridgebrain regime has allowed between seven million and eight million illegal aliens to enter the U.S. by simply walking across the southern border. (The actual number is necessarily uncertain because it depends on the number of "got-aways" who weren't detected.)
Clearly the biden regime sees a big advantage in doing this, since otherwise they wouldn't do it. There seem to be two likely reasons: First is that Democrats see illegals as future Dem voters. Second is that loading the U.S. with people who demand welfare--housing, food, medical care, education and so on--will starve governments of money to keep the potholes filled and the lights on (et cetera). That strategy was explicitly described by two leftist college professors ("the Cloward-Piven strategy") 30 years ago.
So as more millions of illegal aliens waltz across the border, Porridgebrain and his Cuban director of Homeland "Security"--the utterly corrupt Alejandro Mayorkas--brazenly lie that “the border is secure”--knowing that the Mainstream Media will support the lie.
The biden regime and the Media all ignore reality and instead believe in their own fantasies. That is, fantasy is pushed to the American people as if it were reality.
Porridgebrain has borrowed an extra $6 TRILLION over the not-quite-three-years he's been "president." That borrowing has sent inflation and mortgage loan rates skyrocketing. The Media will never tell you, but the price of essentials like food and fuel have increased 25-30% since he entered office.
The Media gaslights you that the biden economy--cutely named “bidenomics”--is totally great. See, they count on the fact that you have no earthly idea what food, fuel and utilities cost 33 months ago--and they're right.
But despite the regime's consistent denial of reality, the cold fact is that no matter how loudly the regime and the Media shriek, reality doesn't bend to their will. Eventually reality always wins. And if ordinary citizens aren't prepared for that, the result will be...ghastly.
Spoiler: virtually no one is prepared for reality to re-assert itself. The collective fantasy is SO persuasive that almost no one grasps reality.
We will soon rediscover it.
Don't be fooled by the recent flurry of contradictory statements by the regime about suddenly finishing the border wall. They have no intention of doing that. Instead it's an effort to convince gullible voters that the regime has totally reversed its prior position, and suddenly wants to stop the flood of illegal invaders. Nothing could be further from the truth.
The regime is just posturing, trying to make voters believe they haven't spent 33 months allowing everyone on the planet to enter the U.S.
These people want to control every man woman and child in the country. So to distract you from that realization they claim *conservatives* want to do that. Classic projection. And it works on half the voters.
Watch for reality to start slowly re-asserting itself over the next 12 months. And at the same time, watch for the Media and the regime to redouble their efforts to tell you you're NOT seeing that.
