How Wall Street shills hide bad news from rubes
Dow snaps three-day losing streak after softer-than-expected ADP jobs data
Isn't that great, citizen? The Dow "snapped a three-day losing streak," so that's wonderful! Yaaaay!
So what's that phrase after the word "streak"? The one saying "after softer-than-expected ADP jobs data"? What do the folks at MarketWatch mean by "softer than expected"? That sounds like a good thing, right?
An hour ago I posted that the huge payroll-processing firm ADP estimated that "the private sector" (i.e. non-government) added just 89,000 jobs in September, after miserable numbers for June, July and August. So by "softer than expected" the shills at MarketWatch actually mean "terrible." Awful.
Of course they'd never say that when a Democrat was preznit. With bidenomics, everything is blue skies and fair winds, always.
Now, what do you think the headline would be if Trump were president? "Economy in free-fall! Record low number of new jobs being created!" Sub-head: "The rich are partying!"
