Four *totally unpredictable* events in Chicago
Some things you just can't predict.
In Chicago in 2020, 22-year-old rookie criminal Edward Flemming was arrested after stealing a car.
And here's the first thing no one could have predicted: the "justice" system in Chitcongo *released the thief on his own recognizance.*
See what I mean? Who could have predicted the Chitcongo courts would release a car thief without jail time or bond, eh?
ONE MONTH after being arrested and released for car theft we get the second *totally unpredictable* event: Flemming and two comrades pointed a gun at a driver and took his car, phone and wallet.
See what I mean about "impossible to predict"? Virtually everyone would think that after having just been allowed to walk free after stealing a car a month earlier, Flemming would wait at least a few more months before stealing another one.
Shortly after that cops found the stolen car with all three suspects inside.
Flemming pled guilty to armed robbery for the carjacking incident. But in yet a third *totally unpredictable* event, Chitcongo prosecutors dropped six other felonies he'd been charged with.
Again, who could have predicted that? With the mayor bleating about how guns are causing crime, and a criminal pointing a gun in the face of a driver in a carjacking, then following the mayor's lead most people would think prosecutors would have thrown the book at the carjacker to show other young thugs not to use guns when jacking cars.
The papers reported that Flemming was sentenced to 14 years. But in yet a fourth totally unpredictable event, they neglected to mention that he'd be released in six.
Actually the most surprising thing about these two crimes is that a Cook County judge sentenced the rookie crook to any prison time at all.
