Chicago Public Schools just made all school bathrooms "unisex"

The leftists running Chicago public schools found a way to bathrooms even more dangerous for students:  As of December 1, all bathrooms will be unisex--used by both sexes.

But don't worry, parents: the school system's "Chief Title IX Officer" assures us that she has designed and ordered *signs* notifying students that anyone can use whichever restroom they please.

Chicago Public Schools was so proud of this new rule: “This is a big step forward for gender equity for our students and staff,” it tweeted.

Ah, "equity," eh?  When you hear the word “equity,” your civilization is under attack.

And of course once socialist officials have ordered something, no one is ever allowed to undo it.  Cuz "progress," citizen!

One of the signs to be mounted outside the unisex bathrooms reads, “All who feel comfortable are welcome to use this restroom.” Not many girls will feel comfortable about boys in what used to be a girls' restroom, but no matter; the comfort of normal people is irrelevant.  The only people who matter are members of a "Specially Protected Class"--i.e. those who exhibit the deviant behavior encouraged by liberals.

This comes in the aftermath of a 14-year-old girl being raped in a restroom in Loudoun County by a boy dressed in a skirt who exploited the fact that the moonbats who run the county schools had ruled that trannies could use any restroom.

Worked perfectly there, eh?  But don't worry, citizen: that could NEVER happen again.

Chicago's outrageously expensive public schools are good at teaching one thing: Critical Race Theory.  Many of the kids who graduate are functionally illiterate.  But rather than make even a token effort to improve the failing schools, the Democrats who run them double down on social engineering objectives certain to make the schools even more chaotic and less effective at teaching useful skills.

Children should never be consigned to the clutches of these malevolent lunatics.  One wonders how and when were parents consulted about this insane decision.  Answer: they weren't, because the school system in Dem-ruled cities believes parents should not have ANY input into school policy--except money, of course.
