Darrell Brooks, Willie Horton. Democrat pols never learn

Willie Horton was a career criminal.  Thirty-three years ago Horton and his co-thugs robbed a gas station and viciously murdered the 17-year-old attendant.

Or as we'd call that now, a normal day in a shit-hole Democrat-ruled city.

Horton was convicted of murder and sentenced to life without parole.  And that should have been the end of the story.

But keep in mind we're talking Massachusetts here.  So despite Horton being a vicious murderer, and having been sentenced to life without parole--a sentence he knew couldn't be extended even if he killed again since the cesspool state of Massachusetts doesn't have a death penalty--in 1986 the soft-on-crime Democrat government of Massachusetts, under governor Michael Dukakis, gave Horton an unsupervised weekend furlough.

Yes, you read that right: the dumb-ass, soft-on-crime Democrat regime allowed a murderer, serving a life sentence, to walk out of prison for the weekend.  The state didn't even make him go to the trouble of planning a clever escape.

And to the amazement of no one except the Democrats running Massachusetts, Horton failed to return to prison to serve the rest of his life-without-parole sentence.

Is anyone else surprised by that?

He was able to roam for almost a year, until he decided to beat and knife an innocent couple, tie up the man, rape his fiance and steal their car.  He was finally caught and returned to prison--though that would never undo the damage he did to the innocent couple.  But of course that doesn't mean anything to Democrat pols, as long as the victim isn't someone in their own family.

Fast-forward to a week ago: In the normally peaceful town of Waukesha, Wisconsin, an anti-white racist and wife-beater named Darrell Brooks was charged running over an ex-girlfriend, the mother of one of his kids.

A Democrat DA--with the same worldview as the stupid bastards in Massachusetts who let the murderer Willie Horton walk out of jail to terrorize again--freed Brooks on on $1,000 bail, despite multiple pending felonies.

One day later Brooks drove his car through Waukesha's Christmas parade, killing six and injuring at least sixty others.

Brooks has a rap sheet going back 22 years.  Every encounter he had with the law was settled by Democrat DAs, according to Democrat rules.  Released on pitifully low bail again and again, even after bail-jumping... sentenced to time served, which was often a single day, even for felonies, even for violent assaults...free on bail even after running over his girlfriend...

You'd think after the Dem governor of Massachusetts let Willie Horton walk out of jail for a weekend leave, allowing him to devastate the lives of innocents, Democrats would have learned not to release career criminals.  They didn't--and never will, because that would require admitting error, which they simply won't do.

It's no surprise that people like Darrell Brooks continue to commit crimes, again and again, ever more violent, more destructive.  Why not?  Because in Democrat-ruled states, there's no penalty.  None.  Mommy posts the trivial bail, which is returned when baby boy shows up in court.  Which he does, knowing he'll get released for "time served."  No problems.

Well, the families of the people Brooks killed might not agree there, but what's that to a Soros-funded Democrat DA, eh?

The case of Darrell Brooks shows even the most casual observer how different the two parties' views are on the issue of crime.  Democrats want to release those charged with serious crimes without even having them post bail, and to replace police with social workers.  Conservatives want to set bail high enough that no one is tempted to jump bail and simply vanish, and to allow police to arrest bad guys.

Once-beautiful San Francisco (Chesa Boudin country), Los Angeles (George Gascon), Chitcongo (Kim Foxx), Philly (Larry Krasner), Baltimore, Atlanta, Memphis, Portland and Seattle are all beyond saving.

Question is, is the U.S. beyond saving?
