Hey, if NBA will let players wear slogans, how about "Free Hong Kong"? Oh NO!!

If you're a fan of the NBA you may know that for the past three years the NBA has been sucking up to China like crazy.  Reason is that China's 1.3 BILLION people constitute a huge potential source of revenue.

Of course it comes as no surprise that the communist Chinese government won't allow any company to do business in China unless that company totally toes the party line.  The communists won't allow even a whiff of anti-communist sentiment.  Any advertising that hints of things like "Freedom" is forbidden.

Now, you may also have heard that since 95% of the players in the NBA are black, the men who run the NBA are, like, totally Woke, and they've announced that they'll permit players to display one of 20 "approved" slogans on their jersey for the first week of the season.  The approved slogans are variations of "I can't breathe," "Black lives matter," "Defund the cops" and so on.

This is a huge departure from previous rules, which didn't allow any slogans on uniforms. So a GOP senator asked ESPN--which totally supports the NBA's reach into China--if the NBA would allow players a bit wider choice of slogans:  Could players wear "We support our troops," or "Freedom for Hong Kong"?

A rep of the NBA had a two-word reply, shown below.

These are the people who support and profit from the NBA.  Boycott the NBA and ESPN.
