The biggest difference between conservatives and liberals, in 11 words:

Conservative: "Here's what we need to do."

Liberal: "Here's what YOU MUST do."

And another difference: years ago, every time the Dem-controlled congress forced the prez to either accept (i.e. sign into law) a disastrous budget OR ELSE the federal gummint would be forced to shut down for a week or two, the nightly "news" on every single network was wall-to-wall weepies about the poor Federal workers furloughed because of the government shutdown.  And how the fabric of society was unraveling!!

But now?  The "news" media are full of "Don't let Trump force those eeevil GOP governors into lifting the lockdowns, cuz the lockdowns are all that's keeping you safe!!  Well, that and Remdesivir, which has gotten emergency fast-track approval from the FDA (and costs $1,000 per pill, compared to ten cents for hydroxychloroquin).

Oh, dat's right:  "Hydroxy isn't safe!  Cuz even though millions around the world take it every day, and it's been used safely for 75 years or so, THE FDA HASN'T APPROVED IT AS SAFE TO USE ON THE VIRUS!!!"
