New Jersey starts pilot program to teach LGBT as part of math, science and grammar??

This week 12 New Jersey schools launched a pilot program to teach students a new "LGBT curriculum" as part of several core academic subjects, following a bill signed into law by Democrat governor Phil Murphy.  The pilot schools will test new lessons in history, economics and even grammar designed to "improve awareness of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender contributions and issues," USA Today reported.

Other lessons would teach students to use a person's "preferred pronouns."

After the test, the new curriculum will be mandatory for all students in public school in the state beginning this fall.

Parents will NOT be permitted to opt-out of the new curriculum.

New Jersey is the second state to do this, following California. Illinois rammed thru a similar law later last year.

Backers of the "inclusive" new program didn't explain how lessons on LGBT issues could be "woven into" lessons on math and science, but we're sure they'll figure out something.  Some feminists have already suggested that the very principles of objective truth and the scientific method are sexist.

One wag summarize the new curriculum this way:  "What does 2 plus 2 equal?"
Answer:  It equals whatever it identifies as.

Actually I think this is a great idea.  There are only so many contact hours in the school year, and hours devoted to teaching LGBT propaganda must come at the expense of actual subject-relevant material.  So after about four years of this experiment, let's see whether achievement scores in New Jersey, California and Illinois have changed--and which direction.

If scores decline, we're pretty sure the elite education gurus will tell you it has nothing whatsoever to do with their decision to emphasize LGBT issues over actual content.  In fact, I'm betting they'll find a way to blame Donald Trump.
