Five years ago, in a galaxy far, far away....some people did something
If you're a college-age American you almost certainly weren't paying attention to overseas murders five years ago, cuz you were 13 to 16 and understandably had more interesting things to do.
Now that you're "older" you need to know what happened five years ago in Paris, to the staff of a satire magazine.
On Jan. 7, 2015, two Muslims, armed with fully-automatic AK-47's, walked into the offices of a French satire magazine--Charlie Hebdo. They brought the employees--cartoonists, writers and editors--out of their offices one by one...and executed them. They executed all nine employees who were in the office.
They also killed a guard and a person who'd come to the office to have lunch with an employee.
As the two thugs fled the murder scene they were stopped by a French police officer. They shot him, and as he lay wounded and helpless on the ground one of the thugs walked up and shot him again at point-blank range.
This murder, unlike the others, was caught on video, and was on the Net for a year or two. I can't find it now, which almost certainly means the French government ordered it to be removed...for fear of "offending Muslims."
The thugs then killed a female French police officer who happened to be at a gas station they used. Eventually police cornered and killed them in a gun battle.
Now: How do you suppose the "elites" reacted?
They made a great show of mourning the victims. The hot media hook was "We are all Charlie"--meaning that any of us could as easily have been killed as the staff at the satire mag. Hollywood stars flew to Paris to be photographed carrying signs or parts of banners bearing the hot-phrase “Je Suis Charlie” (I am Charlie), which flooded U.S. and social media.
Then the French government ordered its armed forces to go from house to house to find and confiscate every weapon owned by Muslims.
Hahahahaha! Not even close. No one did anything.
No liberal politician or government one has done anything since then. When president Trump ordered that no U.S. visas be given to citizens of seven of the worst terror-supporting of the 57-odd Muslim-ruled nations, the Lying Mainstream Media called that a "Muslim travel ban" and screamed that he was banning ALL Muslims from the U.S. (a lie). Democrat politicians dutifully took up the screaming: "Travel ban!" They soon found a liberal judge in Hawaii who reversed the president's order.
[The Supreme Court would later reverse the Hawaiian judge's order, thus confirming that the president had the authority to order no visas to citizens of the seven worst terror-sponsoring nations. Of course you did hear about that huge reversal, right? No? Wow.]
So back to Paris: After the two Muslim murderers killed a dozen innocents in January, there were no more attacks by on French civilians...at least not for ten months. Then on November 13th, 2015, Muslims staged a far larger attack on a popular entertainment area in Paris. They targetted spectators at a soccer match, the audience at a music concert, and randomly walked into numerous bars and restaurants, killing whoever they found.
In all, they murdered 130 unarmed French civilians.
Well...THIS TIME, having suffered two mass-murder attacks in ten months, the French government finally took action. They...issued a strongly-worded statement condemning the attacks. And began searching for the surviving terrorists.
Not a single week goes by now without a Muslim murdering French, German and Italian citizens. It's so routine now that it barely makes the news outside the local village where it happens.
But at least in the U.S....WOW, did you hear that crazy OrangeMan almost started World War Three?!! And that he's responsible for the Iranians shooting down that passenger jet and killing 176 people?!!
