Charging station for electric cars--but wait, how are they getting that electricity?

And why do leftists think running electric cars on electricity made by diesel engines is better for the environment?  Try one of these reasons:

• "Everyone knows electric cars don't produce that AWFUL CO2!!"
• "That's not really a diesel generator.  It's just a storage cabinet!"
• "Even if this place really is using diesel fuel to make electricity, that's better for the planet cuz diesel engines don't emit as much CO2 per kilowatt-hour as nasty coal- or gas-fired powerplants!"  [For those unfamiliar with how electricity is produced that's false.]
• "It doesn't matter if this produces more CO2--the important thing is to encourage people to buy electric cars!  You dumb Trumpsters have to learn to keep your eyes on what's important!"
• "SEE??  This is what happens when you have a dumb guy like Trump as president!  When our faaabulous Elizabeth Warren or Kamala Harris is president she'll order line-powered charging stations built every 200 miles on every highway in the country!  Cuz cost doesn't matter when all life on Earth is at stake!  Besides, that won't cost hardly anything at all!
