A horror in liberal-Democrat-ruled Minneapolis, Minnesota

Next time anyone tells you to trust government--at any level, for anything--tell 'em this story:

In the Peoples' Republic of Minnesota--hard-Left, Democrat-ruled, we-lubs-dat-gruberment Minnesota--two wacked-out parents chained their twin daughters to the door of the parents' bedroom in Minneapolis.  Deprived them of food, beat and sexually assaulted them.

For ten years.

The father impregnated one of the daughters, twice.

Neighbors reported the couple to the cops.  No result.  Reported 'em to child and adult welfare agencies.  Same lack of any result whatsoever.

Finally one of the girls managed to escape and reach authorities, and now the father, Jerry Lee Curry, has been jailed.  The mother, Shelia Wilson, 48, is charged with criminal neglect of her three daughters.

Shannon Remer and other neighbors said they called 911 "numerous times" after witnessing some disturbing scenes at the home.  Police were called to the home 53 times over six years--and yet no cop seems to have seen a thing.  A spokesperson for the Minneapolis Police Department declined to comment.

Remer says she also filed a report with the county's adult protective services after the girls were older, citing "some pretty horrific things...and nobody did anything."  "You call and complain, but at a certain point, you stop calling and complaining because nobody does anything."

Records show that Hennepin County child and adult protection workers opened and then closed two cases into Wilson and Curry after reports of abuse.  You have to wonder whether the "workers" ever actually went to the home.  If so, what did the find?  Did they interview the victims?

Well, good luck finding any answers.  Minnesota Public Radio did a sickeningly self-serving piece on this horror, carefully whitewashing all the gruberment drones who "din see nuffin."  Now the carefully choreographed ballet will begin, with each drone agency head saying "Our employees are hard-working and dedicated, and followed all our policies to the letter.  So we are NOT to blame in any way for any negligence in failing to stop this years ago!"

"Oh, and by the way, you need to increase our budget, cuz it's just awful how children are suffering!"

It's already started.  One agency head said no agency is to blame, but that the problem is that state and county agencies don't share their information: "The police might have some information, human services might have other pieces, education might have other pieces, neighbors and community might have others," DeCubellis said. "We have some limitations on where we have visibility to that information, and how can we data-share."

That last line is a direct quote from Minnesota Public Radio.  Maybe this drone really does talk like that.  Hard to know.

This case is way too similar to the Florida school shooter.  Law enforcement had been to the kid's home something like 25 times in the couple of years prior.  Classmates had actually phoned the FBI--twice--warning 'em that the kid was dangerous.  And the response?  Zip.

Government is incompetent at best, and an active asset to criminal behavior at worst (FBI caught in emails trying to ensure Trump would lose to Hilliary).  You don't believe that, of course, because...it doesn't fit your view of things.  And if that was correct, you'd probably worry.  And who needs that?
