Hearing for Pakistani fraudster and congressional spy delayed yet again, by Obama-appointed judge

You've probably never heard of Imran Awan--a Pakistani con-man and spy who's at the center of one of the biggest scandals ever to hit Democrat congresscritters.

You haven't heard about the scandal--or Awan--because the Lying Mainstream Media has chosen to ignore the story--because it makes Democrats look either incompetent (at best) or even more corrupt than we all thought.

The story begins over two years ago.  (That's how long the Lying Media have been actively ignoring it.)  Click here for the background.  And you really need to read it all.  You'll be shocked, both by the facts of the case, and by the fact that the Lying Media hasn't said a word about it.

Click here for an update on the case.

Dem congresscreep Debbie Wasserman-Schultz--who also happened to be the chair of the Democrat National Committee--hired the Awans to manage her office computers, and recommended that other Democrats in congress do the same.  Even after it came to light that the crooke bastards were stealing every bit of congressional computer equipment they could get their paws on, and after their access to congress's computer system had been removed, and all the other Dem congress-creeps had fired them, Debbie astonishingly kept Imran on her office payroll as a "consultant."

Question for the charmless, corrupt Debbie:  In view of his many apparent crimes, and since he was no longer allowed on congress's computer system, what exactly was he doing for you that would justify keeping him on your office payroll, at taxpayer expense?

The last year eight Democrat members of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence wrote a letter to House leaders demanding that their staffers--including the Awan crew--be granted access to top-secret information.

The letter was signed by Andre Carson, Luis Guiterez, Jim Himes, Terri Sewell, Jackie Speier, Mike Quigley, Eric Swalwell and Patrick Murphy. All are Democrats, and some had a history of attempting to undermine national security.

Awan's case has already been delayed several times.  Finally on March 8 Awan was supposed to appear in federal court on bank fraud charges.  He didn't.  Instead the judge decided to delay the hearing for almost another two months, to May 4 -- a decision that left many wondering why.  It's obvious that the Democrats don't want to get Debbie's larcenous fraudster and likely spy behind bars.  It's almost like they want him to flee to Pakistan, which wouldn't return him to the U.S. for trial.

Imran Awan was born in Pakistan and got a green card through the totally unvetted "immigration lottery."  He became a U.S. citizen in 2004 and earned an IT degree from Johns Hopkins.
He didn't work for any of the six officially vetted IT firms that do computer work for congressional offices.  Nevertheless DNC chair Wasserman-Schultz hired not only Awan but also his wife Hina Alvi and other family members, though none had degrees in information technology.   And as Andrew McCarthy noted, Awan could not possibly have qualified for a security clearance.

Of all the IT people in all the companies in all the world, this was the crew Debbie Wasserman-Schultz and the Democrats hired to work on computers that held notes on briefings of members of the House Intel committee. The unvetted Awan crew enjoyed access to the computers of 45 members of Congress, including members the House Intelligence and Foreign Affairs committees.

After years on the job, Capitol police eventually banned Awan from the congressional computer system.  Some Democrats fired the Awans, but Debbie Wasserman Schultz inexplicably kept Awan on her payroll for more than six months, claiming he was being persecuted simply because of his religious faith,  and that the noise was due to “the right-wing media circus fringe” jumping to conclusions.

Awan’s attorney Chris Gown, a former aide to Bill and Hillary Clinton, agreed, saying Awan’s arrest for bank fraud was “clearly a right-wing media-driven prosecution by a United States Attorney’s Office that wants to prosecute people for working while Muslim.”

Last July, when Awan attempted to flee to Pakistan, the feds busted him on the least-serious charge against him: bank fraud.  He was placed under curfew, required to wear a GPS device, and barred from traveling more than 150 miles from his home.  But many wondered why he hadn't been charged for theft of hundreds of pieces of government computer equipment, or for sending material from the House computer to another server off the capitol grounds. But it's becoming clearer.

The presiding judge in the Awan case is Tanya S. Chutkan, once a partner in the law firm of Boies, Schiller, & Flexner, which represented Huma Abedin in the investigation of Hillary Clinton’s email server. In 2014, Obama nominated Chutkan for the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.

Judge Chutkan is a vocal opponent of President Trump’s travel ban.  As the bogus Mueller probe continues, Chutkan conveniently shields a national security story of far greater importance, with plenty of hard evidence on hand and a suspect in custody.

Awan copied information from the House computer to an off-site server controlled by Democrat Rep. Xavier Becerra (California).  When capitol authorities asked to examine the server they were given only a drive that Becerra's reps claimed was in fact the server.  It wasn't, and the heat from that ruse may have prompted Becerra to leave Congress and become attorney general of California.  (It's extremely rare for a congressman in a safe seat to give up the seat for a less-powerful state office.)

Adding to the anomalies:  A laptop was found in an alcove of the capitol building.  Its serial number matched a laptop purchased by the office of DNC chair Debbie Wasserman-Schultz.  DWS initially claimed the laptop was her personal computer, and threatened the capitol cops if they didn't immediately give it back to her.  But months later she reversed her story completely, saying it wasn't hers. It's an unusual reversal, to say the least.

Interesting that the mainstream media seems totally uninterested in any aspect of this story.
