"Gorilla channel" parody has thousands of liberals believing it

How dumb are the self-proclaimed "leaders" of the anti-Trump "resistance" (all liberal Obama/Clinton supporters, obviously)?

You wouldn't believe it.

With the release of flaming Mike Wolff's absurd, fictional anti-Trump book, libs have been wetting themselves believing that the scathing tales--that Trump reportedly didn't know who John Boehner was, didn't really want to win the election and so on--are real.  So to show people how dumb the libs are to believe any of this crap, cartoonist Ben Ward tweeted a totally fictitious, absured "quote" that he claimed was from the book:
Now, how many phrases do you see that make it clear to anyone with an ounce of sense that this is a parody? Yet Twitter users have shared the thing over 20,000 times.

The sophisticates at the NY Times quickly realized it was a spoof, but then proceeded to show that back in 1997 Trump had allegedly done something vaguely similar:  He reportedly stopped watching one recorded movie and switched to another one!

So see, citizen?  Even though we immediately recognized that the alleged quote was satire, we want to show you that back in 1997 Trump did something equally absurd and unbalanced.  So obviously you need to get on the "he should be removed from office under the 25th amendment" train, stat!

Oh, and don't believe the Republicans on those totally biased House committees if they tell you the FBI was corrupt, citizen!  This is nothing more than a plot to discredit our beloved Nobel-winning former president and his loyal supporter--the woman who totally won the presidency but had it stolen from her by some bizarre, racist plot called the "electoral college."
