Crazy policies by snowflake universities, like "it's wrong to expect people to be on time"
National Review nominated its top ten idiotic things snowflake universities came up with last year. One of the biggest pieces of absurdity came from Clemson University:
In a "diversity training session" attendees were told that expecting people to be on time was “culturally
insensitive.” And the claimed reason? Because some cultures regard time as “fluid."
I wish I could say this was fiction, but unfortunately it's not. And unfortunately, totally typical of universities today.
Wonder what's next? How about "Expecting people from other cultures to add and subtract accurately is culturally insensitive, because some cultures don't consider math valid." Yeah, dat's da ticket.
