Anarchist goons demand that statue of Houston's founder be removed from city park
As most Americans used to know, Houston, Texas was named after Sam Houston. In 1925 a statue of Sam was placed in a city park, where it has become a local landmark.
Now a group calling itself Texas Antifa has demanded that the city remove the statue, and any other landmark honoring the city's namesake. On its Facebook the group wrote
Texas Antifa is also reported to be considering demanding that the city change its name.
Naturally you think this is all a spoof--that no one in America could possibly be so idiotic. Okay, here's the link.
