Obama lies so brazenly even the WaPo is forced to give him "4 Pinocchios"

Here's "your" president, speaking at a Democrat fundraiser in LA two days ago:
Here’s what’s more disconcerting:  their [Republicans] willingness to say no to everything.  The fact that since 2007, they have filibustered about 500 pieces of legislation that would help the middle class...gives you a sense of how opposed they are to any progress — has actually led to an increase in cynicism and discouragement among the people who were counting on us to fight for them.
Now here's the fact-checker for the...Washington Post??
In addressing a dinner...in Los Angeles, President Obama made a rather striking claim:  that Senate Republicans have filibustered “500 pieces of legislation that would help the middle class.”

[T]he president’s claim makes little sense no matter how you do the numbers.

On just about every level, this claim is ridiculous.

[H]e might have been able to make a case that Republicans have blocked about 50 bills that he had wanted passed...but instead he inflated the numbers to such an extent that he even included votes in which he, as senator, supported a filibuster.
Now I don't for a minute believe the WaPo has suddenly abandoned The Precious, but I think it's interesting that the crafty son of a bitch is SO confident that he can lie absolutely brazenly without anyone on the Democratic side calling him on it.  This time was so egregious that even the Post felt compelled to call foul.

Of course liberals and low-information voters already have that bullshit line--"500 Republican filibusters of legislation that would help the middle-class"--firmly planted in their little brains, where it's already become "near-truth."
