War is never the answer--except when it's the only answer.

What's the solution to violence by Mexican drug gangs?

No, seriously.

Our "betters" in Washington--and Leftist, pro-immigration liberals--imply that
a) the problem isn't really significant, but has been exaggerated by GOP wackos;
b) because it's really not significant, there's no need to worry about how to stop it;
c) you can't stop it anyway, so why worry about it?
But of course, the problem IS significant, and is getting worse. And "your" leftist, pro-illegal federal government has so far refused to take any meaningful action. And in fact has sued the one state that IS vowing to do something meaningful.

But I digress. It seems obvious (to me, at least), that the only way to stop drug gangs taking over the southern part of the U.S. is to meet them with large military forces and kill them en masse.

Let me quickly add that this is not a conclusion arrived at hastily or lightly. I just don't see the leaders of the drug gangs suddenly getting up one day and saying, Hey, this is nuts; let's all open small legitimate businesses instead!

Now, as long as the Dems are running every branch of the federal government, no U.S. military forces will be authorized to take any lethal action near the border. But it's interesting to imagine how quickly the tide would turn if we ever unleashed the U.S. military on drug gangs.

One can imagine the drug kingpins seething after the first few defeats, and having to offer more and more money to persuade their members to take on the gringos. Finally the gangs would decide that it was far less risky to stop taking on the U.S. and just fight each other for control of Mexican markets.

Of course the Left in the U.S. would be spittle-flecked with outrage: "It's so unfair to the poor Mexican people for us to drive the drug gangs out of the U.S. and into small Mexican towns! We need to compensate them!"

Can't wait to hear that.

And you know if we ever did take military action, we would.
