Why has the U.S. offered to send Cuba $100 million in aid when Cuban leaders are demanding "conditions"?

You may have heard that now that Venezuela is no longer supplying Cuba with free oil, Cuba is out of oil, money to buy it, and short of food and medicine.  So now I see the brain-trusts at State are pressuring Trump to give Cuba's corrupt, thieving rulers $100 million in humanitarian aid despite the fact that those same rulers are imposing "conditions."

Here's a great response to that:  "Drop dead."  Socialist systems always go broke, and after they run out of money and exports to cover their imports, for decades they're supported by larger socialist states, like Russia or China, which don't want the world to see a socialist state fail--cuz it makes socialism look like the insane system it is.

For 60 years first the USSR and then Russia supported communist Cuba.  Then when Russia started to reduce its support, Cuba made a deal to send doctors and communist troops to Venezuela in exchange for oil to keep the generators running.

Venezuela had lots of oil, and both Chavez and Maduro needed both doctors and troops, so it was a perfect match.  But when Trump ordered the U.S. military to "extradite" dictator Maduro to the U.S. to stand trial, the other leaders of VZ suddenly saw reason, and ended the deal with Cuba.  Hmmm...

So with electricity off in most of Cuba, and food and medicine short and terribly expensive, why in the hell would Marco Rubio push to send $100 million to that nation's corrupt commie rulers--especially when they're DEMANDING conditions, eh?

Easy: Because Rubio is of Cuban descent, and understandably wants to "help the po' starving pipo."  I get it, really.  Unfortunately, this just prolongs the misery: the only solution is to totally replace every member of the current regime.  Let 'em go to Russia or China or Buttfuckistan and live on their stolen loot.

Even better, offer every commie apparatchik in the Cuban regime this deal: forfeit half your assets, and you can leave and take the rest with you, without prosecution.  Or you can stay and take your chances.

Any bets on how many will accept the offer to exit?
