Lying Associated Press still lying about January 6th, 2021 four YEARS later

Here how the Associated Press was still describing the J6 protest yesterday, Feb 17, 2025:

A violent mob loyal to Trump supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol and forced lawmakers into hiding in a stunning attempt to overturn the 2020 presidential election and keep Democrat Joe Biden from replacing Trump in the White House.  A woman was shot dead inside the Capitol...

The AP is clearly implying that the woman shot dead was killed by a member of the "violent mob."  The AP cunningly didn't tell readers that the unarmed woman who was fatally shot inside the Capitol was shot NOT by protesters, but by a Capitol cop (Michael Byrd) from a distance of about 8 feet.  The shooting was captured on clear cell-phone video.
   The utterly corrupt biden regime refused to identify the killer cop for months, suggesting they well knew the fatal shooting was totally unjustified.

Amazing: In Minneapolis months earlier George Floyd died of a drug overdose as he was being arrested by a cop--who was convicted of murder.  But Byrd was not only NOT charged, the biden regime refused even to identify him for months.
   Say, is that yet another Dem double-standard?  

The AP goes on to say DC's mayor ordered "an evening curfew to try to contain the violence."  There wasn't any.  The protesters--which the AP falsely says were there to overturn the results of the election--left within hours, without shooting or killing anyone.  Not one protester was even armed, and yet the Democrats claim the protesters were gonna challenge 300 armed cops to try to overturn the election?

Does not compute.

The AP knows all that, yet pushes the innuendo to peel undecided voters away from the GOP in the 2026 midterm elections, and again in 2028.  The AP and their Democrat masters know that the Dems only need to flip two House seats to block all future laws they don't want.
