Head of teachers' union (Randi Weingarten) has her union partner with social-media sanitizer

In the total panic after the Chyna virus arrived, governors closed schools and small businesses, and ordered lockdowns.  Eventually they realized they could re-open.  But the teachers' unions didn't want to go back to class, preferring to stay home and "teach" on-line.  Far easier, eh?

We actually have emails from union president Randi Weingarten asking the amusingly-misnamed "Education Department" to push all schools NOT to re-open the schools.  

Now Weingarten is trying to rewrite history to claim her union *really wanted* schools to re-open.  

Her brazen lying is breathtaking in its audacity.

During the lockdowns Weingarten was spotted vacationing in the Caribbean.  No lockdown for Randi, eh?

So now, unsurprisingly, Weingarten announced that her union was partnering with a company that scans old social media posts to delete anything that would expose "politically incorrect behavior" by teachers years ago.

Democrats love the "cancel culture"--unless it threatens to expose them as communists or pedophiles or druggies or revolutionaries.

Critics quickly noted that deleting old social media posts could really help teachers (and union officers) who took vacations while claiming to be too scared to return to classrooms.

Few people have repeatedly tweeted more absurd, nonsensical things than Randi.  She once claimed the re-opening policies of Florida Republican governor Ron DeSantis would kill “millions” of people in Florida.  Didn't happen, of course, but claiming it moved the needle against DeSantis.

Randi's move to delete records of incorrect behavior is almost certainly due to accounts like Libs of TikTok, which simply collects teachers’ proudly-self-posted videos showing parents how gay and trans teachers are indoctrinating their children.

Randi openly supports such efforts, but wants to hide those videos from parents.

Classic leftist playbook: control information so normal people never see what you're doing.
