NYC to pay 300 blm rioters $21,500 apiece. Seriously

Back in 2020 mobs of BLM supporters rioted, looted and burned big U.S. cities, including NYC.

Now the corrupt pols who run totally black-ruled New York City have decided to pay each of 300 black rioters $21,500 to settle a lawsuit against the city for dissing them and not giving them room to riot.

There a well-known principle: If you subsidize something, you get more of it.  If you penalize something, you get less of it.  The corruptocrats who run NYC have chosen to reward rioting.  When they get the inevitable result, they'll all claim to be absolutely mystified.
