Imagine building and moving a concrete structure 750 feet long. Now repeat 89 times.

While our major cities are trying to clean up human waste from druggies living on the sidewalks, and the millions of syringes--with needles attached, handed out by the city like candy to junkies--simply dropped on the sidewalk by junkies, a couple of European nations are doing...magic.

If you wanna be impressed by feats of human skill, watch this vid.  These folks wanted to replace a ferry with a rail and car link, but instead of a bridge or a bored tunnel, they settled on making a tunnel of pre-cast concrete sections two-and-a-half times the length of a football field, sinking them in a trench, joining 'em together, pumping out the water and covering the whole thing.

All this to shorten the trip between Sweden and Europe by 150 km (90 miles).

Love it or hate it, it's an impressive feat.  Take a look.
