Ten RINO senators support gun-control bill that would pay states that pass "red-flag laws." Wait...what ??

If you pay attention to national events...  Wait, silly me:  You don't have time to do that.  All your time is spent trying to raise your kids and pay your taxes and keep food on the table and a roof over your family's head.  You're lucky if you have time to think about something as esoteric as "national events."  

You're "maxxed out" on time.  I understand.  It's why I run this blog.

SO...let's start again: In the last two days something really, really important happened--and I'll bet you the drink of your choice that not one American in a thousand heard about it:  the Democrats have gotten ten RINO senators to agree on a "gun control" bill.

That's great, right?  No.  Because the compromise bill will reportedly pay states to enact so-called "red-flag laws."

Being an informed voter, you know what those are, right?  Tucker Carlson explains 'em very well here.

"Red-flag laws" allow the government to seize your firearms if a single person tells cops they believe you're "a danger."  You don't have to have committed a crime for the cops to seize your weapons.  The only thing the cops need is the anonymous allegation.

This doesn't trouble Liberals and Democrats because they claim any harm done to law-abiding citizens is well worth it if it prevents one single murder.  Of course they don't really believe that, because if they did they'd demand that DA's enforce existing gun laws.  They do NOT demand this, and in fact constantly vote for DAs who run on promises to release people who actually commit gun crimes.  So it's all theater.

As has often been noted, for socialists and Democrats  

"The issue" is never the issue.  The issue is always "the agenda."

One of the many revealing things about this "faaaabulous" compromise bill is that within the past year the Supreme Court ruled that such laws were unconstitutional, since they deprived people of due process.  

Democrats: "Just another corrupt decision by the conservative majority on the court!  See??  We warned you that letting Trump nominate conservatives to the court would produce crazy rulings!"

Ah, I see our Democrat neighbors are as well-informed as we've come to expect.  No, ya dumb bastards, it was a unanimous decision.  As in, 9-0.  As in, even the four leftist justices agreed that the state law was unconstitutional.  But thanks for bluffing that you know what's really happening.

So...9-0 against, and on clear constitutional grounds instead of narrow "procedural" ones.  And yet the Dems and the ten RINOs are blythely ignoring that unanimous decision.  It's as if they don't care about passing unconstitutional laws.  Hmmm.....

Democrats:  "Dis bees good law!  Cuz no one will claim I'm a danger, cuz I support everything our brilliant Dear Leader does!  But there's a guy down the street who tweeted that he thinks the Jan 6th "insurrectionists" have been deprived of some silly constitutional rights.  Sounds like he's a dangerous 'violent white supremacist'!  He shouldn't be allowed to own a gun!"

Yep, that's where this is going.  And it is a done deal.   The Mainstream Media immediately started praising the bill as faaabulous, so all good Dems (and many conservatives) will support it.  Brilliant.
