Karma bites Democrats. Will the Mainstream Media's efforts to ignore Dem policies at fault work as usual?

Most people can't remember national events that happened two months ago.  Which enables Democrat politicians to simply lie about past events, since they know their buddies in the Mainstream Media will never call 'em out on the lies.  Example:

Flashback to biden's SECOND DAY IN OFFICE, January 2021:  (CNBC) 

Biden suspends oil and gas leasing in slew of executive actions on climate change

President Joe Biden on Wednesday signed a series of executive orders that prioritize climate change and put the U.S. on track to curb planet-warming carbon emissions.

Biden's orders direct the secretary of the Interior Department to halt new oil and natural gas leases on public lands and waters, and begin a thorough review of existing permits for fossil fuel development.

The series of actions kick off the president's agenda to reduce the country's emissions and establish stricter targets under the Paris climate accord.

And the Mainstream Media talking heads swooned.  Democrats, elties and sheep cheered wildly.  "Thank goodness the adults are back in charge!" they gushed.  "No more mean tweets!"

Fast-forward to today:  Just 17 months after Porridgebrain was installed, he's now sent letters to all U.S. oil companies, threatening to use "emergency powers" if those companies don't immediately increase gasoline production. 

"There is no question that Vladimir Putin is principally responsible for the intense financial pain the American people and their families are bearing," Biden wrote. "But amid a war that has raised gasoline prices more than $1.70 per gallon, historically high refinery profit margins are worsening that pain."

"Your companies and others have an opportunity to take immediate actions to increase the supply of gasoline, diesel and other refined product you are producing," he continued. "My administration is prepared to use all reasonable and appropriate Federal Government tools and emergency authorities to increase refinery capacity and output in the near term, and to ensure that every region of this country is appropriately supplied."

What kind of vague, Putin-like emergency powers does he have in mind?  No one will say.  But we're absolutely sure his DEMAND to increase production will work, because...um...everyone knows that all a CEO has to do to increase production of something as simple as gasoline is just...pick up the phone and ORDER it, and it happens, right?

If you're skeptical, ask Sandy Cortez.  Or Elizabeth Warren.  Or Nanzi Pelosi, or Chuck Schumer.  They all agree that there's nothing more to it than that.  It's called a "command economy," and it's why the Soviet Union's economy ran rings around ours for decades, producing a wealth of consumer goods, while Americans were lucky to find stores selling bread.

If you're a young American you may not realize that last sentence is horse-shit:  It was the other way 'round:  In the former Soviet Union consumer goods were rare.  There were years-long waiting lists to buy a car or a washing machine.   American tourists would bring in extra jeans as gifts to Soviet friends.  But to Democrats, the only way an economy can possibly work well is if a Democrat fuhrer commands how much of everything is to be produced.  It's how they think.

I could cut Porridgebrain and his socialist Democrat handlers some slack if they admitted that their stupid, stupid energy policies caused 95% of the higher gas prices, and apologized profusely and promised to undo all their stupid orders.  But of course they won't--they never admit error or apologize.  Which leads to the delicious scene we're watching now, in which Porridgebrain and his Dem handlers say, quite clearly, months before the election, "We're gonna KILL the U.S. oil industry, on the excuse of Global Warming excuse us, climate change!"  

And in biden's first few days in office, he does just what he promised, and it has the effect everyone with an IQ over room temperature knew it would, and...wait for it...prices go way up!

The cunning ones knew this would happen, and indeed, that it was part of the deliberate plan.  But the media talking heads--who know virtually nothing about economics or energy--seem genuinely puzzled that when you kill the supply of anything, the price increases.

In any case, we rarely see such a short time elapse between dumbshit ORDERS and the very same moron who issued those orders having to ORDER the companies he deliberately crippled in his first day in office to somehow UNDO the totally predicted effects of his dumbshit actions.

Ten percent inflation and pricey gasoline suck, but if it takes $7 per gallon gasoline to open the eyes of Democrat voters to the utter stupidity of Dem policies, it's worth it.
