Paying an extra $1,500 per year for gas? Thank the Democrats, cuz it's all just to keep you from being overweight!

Who says biden/harris* and the Democrat party aren't looking out for YOU, citizen?  See, it's common knowledge that far too many Americans are either obese or overweight.  So what would a caring, compassionate Democrat regime do to solve that, eh?

The mainstream Dems wanted to make overweight Americans have a "food passport" that would limit what they could buy in grocery stores--and NO fast food at all.  But the very few moderate voices in the Dem party said that might annoy the overweight voters, so that was scrapped.

Ah, but never underestimate the creativity of cariing, compassionate Democrats!  Someone realized that since most of the overweight people were NOT in the Dem strongholds of the big Dem-ruled cities, but lived in "flyover country," the trick was to do something that would cost the flyover folks lots of money but wouldn't hurt people who lived in Dem-ruled cities nearly as much.

And a cunning Dem "thinker" said Why don't we tax the hell out of gasoline?  That huirts people in flyover country--who don't vote for us--WAY more than it hurts our peeps in duh big cities!

And the Dem elites thought about that and said "Fabulous idea!"  And next thing you know, flyover families were paying an extra $1,500 a year for gasoline.  Which means you have to cut back on...something, eh?   Like fast-food, or sugary drinks.  What a great plan!

Thanks, Democrats!  You've found a way to reduce caloric intake by flyover rubes.  Wow!
