Member of the board of directors of teachers' union says people applying for religious exemption should be fired...and die

Way, way back when I was in public school we had pretty good, sane, normal teachers.  But that was in flyover country, far from the coastal cesspool cities.  It was also long enough ago that communists and hard-core socialists usually didn't get hired as teachers.  The U.S. was different back then.

Now things are...a lot worse.  Although I don't doubt that most teachers are still pretty normal--especially in flyover country--more crazies seem to be joining teacher ranks.  And of course the most extreme end up as board members of the National Education Association.

Today a member of the Board of Directors of that body made a Fakebook post saying she thought anyone who hadn't been vaccinated, or who applied for a religious exemption to avoid the jab, deserved to die.

Mollie Paige Mumau used Fakebook to accused people who haven't been vaccinated due to religious exemptions of “hiding behind religious exemptions because they don’t want anybody to tell them what to do,” according to a screenshot of her post. Mumau said religious exemptions to the COVID-19 vaccine are “such BS” because “people tell you what to do all the time and you do it.”

Mumau appeared to refer to a specific person in her comment, writing, “He and his ilk deserve whatever comes their way, including losing jobs, getting sick, and perhaps dying from this virus. But in the meantime, he’s going to put all the people around him in danger.”

“I don’t know why the GOP doesn’t just take those guns they profess to love so much and just start shooting all of their constituents who think this way,” Mumau wrote. “It would be quicker and ultimately safer than putting me and my friends and family at risk.”

And this nut-case is a board member of the NEA?  Wow.  What does that say about the sanity of the members who presumably voted to elect her to that post?

The National Education Association did not respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.
