Dem rep introduces bill to pack the Supreme Court, then brazenly bleats "We're NOT packing the court!"
Democrat politicians have totally mastered the art of brazen lying--calling something "X" when rational people easily recognize it's actually the opposite.
Case in point: today ghastly Dem rep Jerry Nadler introduced a bill that would allow Democrats to add four new judges to the Supreme Court. Back when Franklin Roosevelt tried this, Americans and the media had no trouble recognizing this a "court packing"--packing the court with Democrat judges who would decree that FDR's socialist programs were constitutional and legal. The Dem allies would allow the Dem president to do anything.
Nadler's bill proposes the same packing scheme, for exactly the same reasons. So how do Nadler and his Dem buddies plan to make their packing plan look better than FDR's?
Simple: Just deny that they're packing the court. Instea say "We're NOT packing the Supreme Court, we're UNpacking it."
You probably have a hard time believing any sane adult could lie so brazenly, eh? Well take a look.
