NY "expert" screamed "no crowds," then instantly reverses position to support the mob

Mark D. Levine is a socialist who's wormed his way into being named chairman of the New York City Council Health Committee.  He was one of the so-called "experts" who claimed in February that it was absolutely fine for New Yorkers to congregate in huge groups in Chinatown for the Chinese new year.

"Virus?  From China, ya say?  But don't worry: it's neither contagious nor dangerous, citizen.  I have spoken."

But when Democrats realized they could get more votes by destroying the economy, by ordering people to stay at home for a couple of months, his tune suddenly changed.  Now he, like, totally supported the notion of banning all gatherings, including funeral, weddings and church services.  And anyone who refused that order would be fined and accused of trying to kill your children!

So naturally, when "protesters"--excuse me: "mostly peaceful protesters"... hit the streets of NYC in mobs of a thousand or more, Levine warned that this would surely cause more people to catch the virus.  Thus the mobs were endangering ALL New Yorkers.

Ah, I see you just arrived on our planet.

He did NOT scold the mob by saying that the packed mobs of rioters--excuse me: "mostly peaceful protesters" were likely to spread the virus.  Instead what he did was to not only rationalize huge crowds gathering in tight packs--totally reversing his previous screaming warning--but went on to claim that IF there was a spike in virus cases in two weeks, it was NOT due to the mobs of people, but would be due to...wait for it..."'raaacism."

Seriously.  He twatted “Let’s be clear about something:  If there is a spike in coronavirus cases in the next two weeks, don’t blame the protesters. Blame racism.”

Naturally you can't believe any idiot would be such an obvious suck-up and toady.  Well here's his tweet, from his verified account:

If you're not clear on exactly how a spike would be due to raaacism, join the club.  Levine The Expert doesn't explain, possibly because he knows his Leftist friends will never ask him.  Maybe it's that raaacism absolutely FORCED da mos'ly peas-like demoraters to hit da streets.

Yeah, dat's it.

What amazes me is that after Levine has shown what an unprincipled toady he is, by his double-standard for crowds, anyone would believe a word of what he says.

Oh wait, dat's right:  He's an expert.  Believes in science!  And see, Science is, like, totally flexible when it comes to infectious diseases.
