Former NYT reporter for 21 years rejects any investigation of Biden, says "I don't want justice"

Martin Tolchin was a New York Times congressional correspondent with the paper's D.C. bureau for 21 years.  Tells ya all you need to know right there. He co-founded the pro-Dem website The Hill.

After the Times called for an investigation into Tara Reade's sexual assault allegations against former Vice President Joe Biden, Tolchin rejected the call, saying "I totally disagree with this editorial. I don’t want an investigation. I want a coronation of Joe Biden."

"A coronation"?  How...regal.

Tolchin suggested that an investigation would be too risky for the Democrat nominee before the November election, and that it could doom Biden's chances of defeating President Trump.

"Would he make a good president?" Tolchin asked.  "Good enough. Would he make a better president than the present occupant? Absolutely.  I don’t want justice, whatever that may be. I want a win, the removal of Donald Trump from office, and Mr. Biden is our best chance."

"I don't want justice."
Indeed.  That summarizes the Democrats' position perfectly.

Martin Tolchin--the face of today's Democrat party.
