Leftists are pressuring corporate boards to do things the Left can't get done by law
A sophisticated society has a thousand areas that are vulnerable to attack, whether by internal or external enemies.
The Left wants to disarm Americans. They've repeatedly tried to do this by passing laws to effectively void the right to bear arms, but so far with limited success. So while this effort continues, a coalition of social-justice warriors, deluded females and older gutless “baby-boomer” cowards who are beginning to dominate many board rooms are forcing their companies to stop selling guns.
If you can't buy a gun, what good is the right to own one?
The New York Times notes that after a mass shooting at a Walmart in El Paso, Walmart’s chief executive, Doug McMillon, announced that his company would stop selling ammunition for they type of rifle used. He also announced that armed people in open-carry states wouldn't be allowed in Walmarts.
By intimidating Walmart the 2nd Amendment is nullified — without going to the trouble of amending the Constitution, because WalMart isn't a government entity.
The leaders of 145 other big American companies, including Levi Strauss, Royal Caribbean Cruises and Bain Capital, published an open letter to the Senate last week pressing for new anti-gun laws.
How long will it be before banks stop lending to gun manufacturers, or refusing to let buyers pay for a gun by credit card? Leftists are already pushing for those things to happen.
And the trend is spreading fast, partly because brainwashed and libtarded Generation X and Millennial morons are reaching upper tiers of management now, and partly because so many mushy-minded females and money-minded beta males haven’t got the stuff to to tell the vocal Left to go blank themselves.
