Sanctuary city policies in Chicago--decreed by Dem rulers--are having a bad effect
The Democrats who've ruled Chicago (a.k.a. chitcongo) for decades preen themselves for their great virtue in being a "sanctuary city." That means they refuse to cooperate with federal authorities in holding illegal aliens who have committed major crimes until ICE can arrive and take them into custody for deportation.
Note that we're not talking here about the simple crime of entering the U.S. illegally--a crime that should be deportable in its own right. Instead we're talking about rapists and murderers, who rational pols would order held for deportation. But astonishingly, Democrat pols WANT rapists and murderers here, even if they're here illegally. They've ordered their cops to refuse to hold such scum, and to not even inform the feds that they're holding 'em.
Can anyone guess the absolutely inevitable result?
Sure you can: After the criminals are released by the Dems, they kill or rape again.
Of course you can't believe any honest, ethical politician would order their cops to release such persons, right? It's almost impossible to believe, eh? Ah, I see you don't know much about the awful Democrat rulers of our major cities.
So for example, in Chitcongo an illegal alien invader named Christopher Puente was arrested for theft. Immigration and Customs Enforcement asking them to hold the illegal until they could pick him up, but due to "sanctuary" policies by the mayor the illegal was released.
Last month he was arrested for sexually assaulting a 3-year-old girl in a McDonald’s bathroom.
"But...but...no one could possibly have foreseen that this wonderful, law-abiding person would have done such a thing! Besides, the 3-year-old is still alive, and there are lots of good therapists in Chicago who'd be happy to treat her for any trauma. So we politicians are really doing the right thing by releasing 'undocumented Americans' back into the community where they can do the jobs Americans don't want to do! So shut up, raacists!"
The mayor of Chitcongo is a black communist named Lori Lightfoot. But we shouldn't put all the blame on Lori, since Chitcongo is chock-full of morons who agree thatillegal aliens "undocumented Americans" are really law-abiding.
Well, except for a few trivial details.
