Send sex pics to teens, get two years. Lie to the FBI, corrupt prosecutors demand 9 years. Wait...

One of the key pillars of American greatness is--or was--that everyone was equal under the law.  The law was to apply to every citizen equally, regardless of his or her position.

Of course we've now seen--endlessly--that this principle has been trashed.  Ignored.  Rich and/or politically-connected citizens get away with crimes that would land ordinary people in jail for years.

But the trashing of "fairness under the law" also works in reverse:  If the treasonous scum who infest the laughably-misnamed Department of "Justice" see you as one of their political opponents--i.e. if don't like your politics--they'll sentence you to life in prison for littering, or something similar.

This is what happened to Roger Stone.  As the corrupt assholes at the DOJ (Comey, Mueller, McCabe, Lisa Page, Peter Strzok et al) were "investigating" their own corrupt (i.e. false) claims of "Russian collusion," they discovered Stone had lied to FBI agents.  Yes, this is a crime, but happens constantly and is generally quite minor.  It's one of those "Come down and turn yourself in and we'll negotiate about this" crimes.

But the FBI and DOJ conspirators believed that if they scared Stone enough--threatened him enough--he might fabricate some statement about president Trump to save himself.  So the FBI assembled a raiding team that broke into Stone's home before dawn, guns drawn.  They made the 67-year-old Stone and his wife stand in the street, barefoot, in pajamas, as they ransacked his home.

Four particularly corrupt DOJ attorneys on Mueller's team demanded that Stone be imprisoned for seven to nine years.  For lying to the FBI.

By comparison, former Obama high officials James Clapper and John Brennan are both confirmed perjurers. They did it in public. They will never be prosecuted.  In fact they're  now getting rich on television.

Similarly, sending explicit sexual photos to an under-age girl is a serious felony.  For committing this crime, fomer Democrat congresshole Anthony Weiner got just 21 months, and served less.

Weiner was an admitted sex offender, but he was also a close personal friend of Bill and Hillary Clinton's.  In the end, that's what mattered most. See how this works?

In Roger Stone's case, corrupt prosecutors want Stone imprisoned for nine years not because he hurt someone or hurt this country.  He didn't.  Instead they sought this harsh sentence because they hate his politics.  But above all, they hate his attitude.  Stone made fun of the ruling class. That's not allowed, and they never forgot it.

To punish Stone for his political views, prosecutors lied about what Stone did. They linked him to non-existent charges of "foreign election interference," even though no foreign interference was ever detected or proven--certainly not by Stone or his party.  Then they apparently deceived their superiors at the Department of Justice about what they'd done.

Wait, I thought lying to an agent of the "Justice" Department was a crime!  Guess not, cuz not one of the corrupt prosecutors is being prosecuted for lying to their superiors.

Novelist George Orwell saw this coming, writing "All animals are equal.  But some animals are more equal than others."

Only now are we slowly learning the degree of the illegal behavior by DOJ and FBI officials--because they ignored earlier legal orders to come clean.  (Try that yourself and see if you get away with it.)  But we've now learned that the grotesque, false charges and recommended sentence against Roger Stone weren't the only parts of the process that were affected illegally. The trial itself was, too.

During jury selection lawyers asked the eventual foreman of the jury--a black female--if there was anything that would affect her ability to render a fair verdict in the case.  She claimed she was non-partisan and thus fair, saying she hadn't paid much attention to the Russia probe.

We now know this was a brazen, outrageous lie--because her Twitter account shows she's an anti-Trump zealot who closely followed the Mueller investigation.  For example, in one tweet she called Donald Trump "The Klan president."

When Stone was taken into custody in a dawn raid by dozens of federal agents armed with automatic weapons, she mocked the idea that the arrest was excessive. "Oh, it seems fine to me."

This is not an unbiased juror. This is not someone capable of judging this trial fairly. This is a partisan who lied about who she was. Roger Stone is facing life in prison because an Obama-appointed judge, Amy Berman Jackson, allowed this woman to run the jury.

And that's all fine with CNN, which has colluded with the Justice Department from day one on this, and which is rooting for Stone to die behind bars. But it should be deeply upsetting to anyone who cares about fairness — and that should be all of us.

All nations, all societies, eventually come to an end.  When your grandchildren tell the story of the collapse of the once-magnificent free nation called the United States of America, having one set of laws for normal people and one set of laws for the so-called "elites" in government will be part of the breakup story.

No nation can survive for long with two different sets of laws.
