So typical: Leftist nut Bill Maher says a recession would be "worth it" in order to defeat Trump

As you may have heard, a president's chances of re-election depend very strongly on the economy.  If the economy is good, his chances of re-election go up considerably.

As you may also have heard, the U.S.. economy is booming: wages up, unemployment at all-time lows for every demographic group, stock market near record highs--and up something like 9,000 points from Obama's reign.  Companies bringing jobs back to the U.S.  Inflation still low. Lots of good news.

As a result, liberals are despondent:  How can we defeat OrangeManBad?

Never fear, liberal a$$hold Bill Maher has a plan:  He's hoping for a recession.

I'm not kidding:  On his show "Overtime" last week Maher said he thought the economic pain of a recession would be "worth it" if the recession prevented President Trump from serving a second term.

After Maher said he hoped for a recession if it would defeat Trump, business columnist Josh Barro reminded Maher that "recessions are really bad" and that people lose their jobs, Maher replied "I know, but it's worth it."

This, people, is the insanity of the Left:  'We'd rather destroy the economy than re-elect our enemy."

A commenter noted, "Maher is insane.  Right after the 9/11 Maher called the terrorists "brave" yet he said our military was not brave.  He lost his show for a long time until people forgot about it."  And yet...today he has a high-paying, recession-proof job.  He knows he won't lose it even if the economy tanks.
