Dem governor of NY grants clemency to 22 illegal invaders convicted of state crimes

Yesterday the Democrat governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo, granted clemency to 29 convicted, jailed criminals, including 22 illegal immigrants who by law would have faced deportation.  He also commuted the sentences of four murderers and three convicted of armed robbery.

Most of the illegal alien invaders were convicted for selling illegal drugs.  But in classic Democrat fashion Cuomo apparently decided that our society isn't harmed by such trivia as selling illegal drugs.  After all, it's not like there's some sort of heroin or opioid epidemic killing 5,000 Americans a month or something.

Oh, wait...I read that wrong:  There IS a drug epidemic killing 5,000 Americans every month.  But Cuomo and other Democrat congress-creeps and governors apparently don't believe there's a connection between the sale of these drugs and those 5,000 fatalities.  Every.  Month.

Similarly, Cuomo doesn't have any problem granting clemency to convicted murderers, because after all, every killer deserves a second chance.

Well, at least every killer Cuomo can use to tout his Social Justice cred.

Cuomo's office issued a statement quoting Cuomo as saying Trump and the federal government "are waging a war on our border against immigrant communities."  This may surprise some of you, since you may have thought the whole "enforce border security" thing was geared to keeping illegal invaders from entering the U.S.  Well yes, that's true, but the people sneaking across or claiming to be seeking asylum want to be part of the immigrant community, right?  So by trying to keep them out, Trump is sort of "waging a war" against illegal "immigrant communities," by preventing them from getting larger.

See, citizen?  It's all perfectly logical--at least if you don't worry about the absent word "illegal."  It's almost like Cuomo is trying to get listeners to think Trump is against immigrants, instead of being against illegal immigration/invasion.

The statement also quoted Cuomo as saying “While President Trump shuts down the federal government over his obsession with keeping immigrants out, New York stands strong in our support for immigrant communities.  These actions will help keep immigrant families together...."

Hmmm, there he did it again, accusing Trump of being obsessed with "keeping immigrants out," when that's not even remotely true.  The statement repeated "immigrant"--leaving out "illegal"--two more times just to cement in listeners' minds the outright, brazen lie that Trump is against legal immigration.

It's a good semantic trick, and the average reader never recognizes it.

Better yet, when that ghastly, lying piece of crap ithe NY Times glowingly reported Cuomo's pardons, the paper's headline read

Cuomo Pardons 22 Immigrants

Few readers will notice the crucial word missing: "Illegal" immigrants.

The story led with a huge pic of Cuomo, with the caption "Andrew M. Cuomo issued 22 pardons to immigrants...," once again omitting the critical adjective "illegal."

Since this is the Times, it's reasonable to concluded that they were fully aware of the distinction, but deliberately chose to use the lie.  Because, Democrats
