Another liberal judge helps twice-deported illegal avoid ICE agents

You don't want to know how fatally the Democrats / liberals / socialists have damaged this country in the last 8 years.  But you need to if you want our nation to have a chance of escaping the fate of France, Venezuela, Cuba, China and Russia.  I'll explain:

For the last decade or so, normal, hard-working Americans have realized that we now have two different sets of laws here: one set for you, and a totally different set for the politically connected.

If you break the law, you get hammered.  By contrast, if a Democrat or liberal does exactly the same thing, they either get released with probation or no punishment, or get a token slap on the wrist.

This is most apparent in the refusal of Democrat-ruled cities and states to cooperate with federal agents to enable them to enforce federal immigration law.

Helping a murderer or bank robber escape--say by hiding him or loaning him a car--is a crime ("accessory after the fact").  But if a Democrat state legislator helps sneak illegals into the U.S, or a liberal judge in a Dem-ruled state directs subordinates to escort a twice-deported illegal with arrest warrants from another state and an ICE detainer to a little-known rear door of the courthouse to allow the illegal to avoid ICE agents waiting to arrest him, the Democrat / liberal gets no punishment at all.

Cuz connected Democrats don't have to obey the law, citizen.  Deal with it.

And amazingly, my liberal friends are totally fine with this.  Apparently they don't see any negative consequences at all to politicians deliberately breaking U.S. law with impunity.

And in one respect they're right--there aren't any consequences to the Democrat politician or official--because liberal judges agree with their liberal colleagues.  But when judges openly defy valid U.S. law, do ya think young Americans learn a lesson from that?  And do you think it's a lesson that will make life here better, or worse?

In this latest case a judge in Boston indeed directed bailiffs to take the twice-deported illegal--who, keep in mind, had been picked up for drugs and was also wanted for drunk driving in another state, as well as having a detainer order from federal agents--to the back door of the courthouse so he could avoid ICE agents.

Democratic pols have even called for disbanding ICE.  New York’s governor, Cuomo, has publicly called ICE agents “thugs."

Moreover, since President Trump took office he has repeatedly had his efforts to enforce valid U.S. immigration law blocked by a number of federal judges, particularly regarding trying to end Obama's unconstitutional DACA program, and the attempt to ban people from 7 terrorist countries from entering the U.S.  (See here, here and here.)  The Dems want open borders, and if they can get that result by having judges do it for 'em, thus avoiding taking a hit with voters by actually passing a LAW declaring unlimited immigration, so much the better.
 
Judges are supposed to enforce our laws dispassionately and objectively.  Unless a law is unconstitutional, judges aren't supposed to just ignore laws they don't want to enforce.  Yet that's exactly what liberal judges are doing.

In the case noted above, the Boston Globe reported a conversation among Judge Shelley M. Joseph, the defense attorney and the prosecutor on how they should deal with the fact that an ICE agent was in the courthouse waiting to take the defendant into custody.

“ICE is going to get him,” said the judge. She then instructed a clerk to turn off the courtroom’s audio recorder.  She clearly didn't want any record of what she was about to suggest. 

The prosecutor--also a Democrat--went along with the judge, saying “There's a detainer attached to my paperwork, but I feel like that’s separate and apart from what my role is.”

Minutes later the twice-deported illegal was escorted downstairs to a back door and released.  He jumped a fence and took off, avoiding yet another deportation.

The Globe noted that this is not the only case where liberal judges have helped illegal aliens avoid federal agents.  Last year another previously-deported illegal was accused of raping a student at Boston College.  Judge Mary Beth Heffernan  rejected prosecutors’ request for $100,000 bail, setting a bail of $2,500.  The illegal posted the bond and promptly fled.

Releasing accused illegal-alien rapists on a trivial bond seems guaranteed to get that result.  But hey, liberal judges know what they're doing.  They're smarter than you are, citizen.
