Teen stabs both parents to death. Lib rag spins story as "struggle with gender identity"

"Newsweek" is a hive of communist scum and liberal villany.  If you think that's a bit over the top, consider their breathless headline yesterday:

Maine Teen Says Struggles With Gender Identity Led to Brutal Stabbing Deaths of Parents, Pet Dog

"Struggles with gender identity," eh?  Let's see how FakeNewsweek spun this one:

A teenager who said she killed her parents and the family's pet dog because of struggles with her gender identity has been sentenced to 40 years in jail.

Andrea Balcer was 17 at the time when she “snapped” and fatally stabbed her parents  at their home in Winthrop, Maine, on October 31, 2016.

Balcer claimed she was struggling to deal with her transition from male to female and that her family offered her no support during this time. Balcer also claimed she was molested for years by her mother and physically and mentally abused by her father, accusations the rest of the family fervently denied.

After launching the frenzied attack, which included stabbing her mother nine times, Balcer then killed the family’s chihuahua because it kept on barking.

Balcer, now aged 20, pleaded guilty to two counts of intentional or knowing murder and one count of aggravated cruelty to animals...in September.  Balcer asked for forgiveness from the rest of her family while being sentenced to 40 years in jail.

The defendant’s brother, Christopher Balcer, who Balcer spared on the night of the attack, wrote a letter to her in prison to say how he had not forgiven her. 

I doubt there's a foolproof way to tell whether this murderer was insane or merely evil.  If insane, there's no accounting for that.  It seems to be a random incidence.  One can make the case that insane people shouldn't be held responsible even for murder.  

But another group of people--who (arguably) ARE sane--should be called to account for encouraging young Americans to declare themselves members of the other gender.  The members of this "other" group are ruining tens of thousands of lives by encouraging transgender insanity in young people who wouldn't have had a thought about it before it became such a "hip" thing to be.  The members of this "other" group are definitely "struggling with gender issues"--though maybe not their own.

They're the dumb-ass editors and "reporters" at Newsweek.

Hmmm...did FakeNewsweek perhaps leave out a few minor details of the story?  Like, say, this one from a local paper:

Balcer told police his mother was hugging him in his bedroom to try to comfort him when he plunged a knife into her back and continued to stab her as she fell onto his bed and then finally to the floor.
