Author of fabricated anti-Trump book won't release tapes he claims to have; cuz...

The author of the utterly fabricated anti-Trump book released last week was interviewed on MSNBC.  The interviewer noted that virtually everyone the author supposedly "quoted" in the book says they were misquoted, so the interviewer says

"You have tapes.  Are you gonna release the tapes?"

Author: "N...  I have tapes.  I work like every journalist.  I have what every journalist has--I have tapes, I have notes...

Interviewer:  "But if people are questioning it, why not produce the evidence?"

Author:  "Because that...that...because that...because I'm not in your business.  My evidence is the book.  Read the book.  If it strikes you as...if it rings true, it is true."

Hope y'all recognized what just happened there:  'I don't need no steenkin' evidence.  If what I say confirms what you *think* happened, it's true.'  Which is virtually the same reasoning used by the infamous liar Dan Rather when he used his nationwide platform as anchor of the CBS evening news to publish an utterly fake story about George W. Bush just before the election.

The Left/Democrats/liberals are special:  They can make any claim as if fact, without proof, and they expect Americans to believe them.  They Lying Media will back them all the way.  The "elites" will denigrate anyone who doesn't believe The Narrative as stupid, a mouth-breather.

Of course you probably don't believe any author would make such a dumb-ass (but incendiary) statement ("If it rings true, it is true.") on national cable.  And if he did, the network would simply edit it out before broadcast.  But it's true, and here's the evidence:



This book follows the same pattern as the infamous "Russian dossier:"  You can almost see Hilliary and her minions cackling with glee over the plan:  We'll create this fake "report" tarring Trump, and anonymously slip it to our friends in the media.  They can report its contents without fear of being sued, since Trump is a public figure and can't show actual malice.  We win, so the source and accuracy of the report will never be investigated!  Yay!!
