Double standards in media reporting, part gazillion

Uh...I thought I heard that some state up by Canada had some sort of odd election Tuesday. Before Tuesday all the Mainstream (i.e. Lying-) Media outlets were saying it was really important for some reason. Lotsa excitement.

But now, two days later, it's hard to find much media interest.

Wonder why?

Oh, wait--the Washington P**t ran a story on Wednesday: "Walker survives close vote." At the time the story ran, Republican Scott Walker was reported as being ahead by 13 points.

Evidently journalistic standards have changed radically in the last four years, because if you go back to November, 2008-- after Obozo won with 52-point-something-percent of the popular vote to McCain's 47-something-- the WaPo reported "U.S. decisively elects first black president."

Hmmm...a 13-point GOP win is "close", while a 5-point Democrat win is "decisive."

Liberals and Democrats, tell us non-elites one more time how the U.S. media are absolutely unbiased.

You're a bunch of lying bastards. And on some level I suspect a lot of you know it.
