Dems in Portland spent $724 MILLION on "the homeless" in FY 2024

If you were both blind and deaf, how well would you perceive the reality of the world around you?

If you said "Yeh, dat wud be reel hard" (or some variation thereof), congratulations.

That's why you have no idea what's really happening in the U.S. today: you're *effectively* blind and deaf, because the Lying, Democrat-fellating Mainstream Media chooses not to tell you a single word that would reduce your support for the corrupt Democrat partei [sic].

Oh the information is in the public domain all right.  But you just don't see it--unless you know where to look.

Democrat (sneering and cackling): "Ahh, yew gettin' your info from right-wing conspiracy websites, run by crazies!"

No, but that's the usual defense.  The info comes from LOCAL newspapers and TV stations *that can't ignore the information without making it obvious that they totally fellate the Democrat Partei [sic].

See, they're still trying to pretend they're, like, *totally* honest and unbiased, so they can't ignore damning local stories without looking like the Democrat-fellating shills they are.

SO...a local TV station in Portland was forced to report that in FY 2024 the city and surrounding Multnomah County spent a staggering $724 MILLION on...homeless pipo.  Portland and the surrounding county have an estimated 17,000 homeless, so how much is that per "homeless" person in ONE year?

Democrats: "Dat guuuud, citizen!  We gots so much taxpayer money sloshing around an' dis iz duh *best way to spend it!*  See, since we dun fixed all duh potholes an' picked up all duh used needles on duh sidewalks an' all duh trash, dis beez a *great* use of taxpayer money!  We gibs doze po' pipo apartments an' rent money an' get-stoned money, which iz all guuuud, cuz if pipo wanna use drugs, who are we to say no, eh?  An' who are yew to object to your tax dollars being used fo' dis?"

Lest you think I'm picking on the moronic Democrats who rule Portland (and all of Oregon)...the morons who rule San Francisco spend even more...well over $100,000 per homeless person per year.  LA spends even more than that.  You just won't see that in the Mainstream Media because they refuse to show ya.  Because it would horrify most rational people.

SO...just who are these homeless, eh?  Democrats claim deyz all hard-working Americans who had dere homes foreclosed on by eeeebil banks cuz dey couldn't afford dere house payments, or were evicted cuz dey couldn't pay dere rent.  And certainly I'm all for helping that one percent.  But liberal regimes never even TRY to distinguish between the one percent of homeless who worked hard but couldn't make their mortgage payments from the 99% who are either drug addicts or mentally ill.

Democrats: "NOOooo, dis not true!"

Yeah sparky, it is true.  Scores of gutsy Americans have wandered thru homeless "camps" armed with cell phones, chatting with residents.  The results will convince you...unless you're a Democrat who refuses to believe the videos.  "NOooo, doze videos wuz all done by 'AI' to make duh homeless look like crazies or addicts!!!  Only a few of duh homeless are mentally ill or drug addicts!  Reeeeally!" 

Of course there's a solution: Institutionalize the mentally ill and drug addicts.  It won't save any money, but will make cities like Portland, San Fran and LA FAR more livable.  

Democrats: "Wait...no such institutions exist!  We got our liberal pols and judges to close all duh places we used to put the mentally ill.  An' we won't allow yew mean Rethuglicans to put drug addicts in institutions cuz dis iz a free country, so anyone kin put any drug dey want in their own body, right?  So...neener neener neener, conservatives!"

Sure enough, way back in the 1970s the ACLU and other liberal groups forced all the "mental institutions" to shut down, putting all their residents on the streets.  What we got from that was an avalanche of *random* murders of persons by crazies--usually by stabbing.

You don't believe that because you're blind and deaf, because the Mainstream Media *absolutely refuses to show you.*  But the U.K. Daily Mail gets the videos of stabbing murders on subways and U.S. streets.  You just never see 'em.

Now: As the electorate is currently constituted, there's not a chance in hell of being allowed to instiutionalize drug addicts and the mentally ill (kinda redundant, eh?).  Even most conservative pols would refuse to support that, and even if they did, liberal Dem judges would block any such institutions from being built or opened.

So where does that leave us?

You already guessed: Unless and until a huge majority of voters reject every Democrat/socialist candidate, nothing will ever be done to fix the problem.  Politicians won't vote for a fix if they think it will cost 'em their powerful positions.  So we'll continue to see places like LA spending over a billion dollars a year on "the homeless."  Po' ol' Portland and the surrounding county will soon be spending that much--and it will continue to increase.  Voters will be guilt-tripped into continuing to vote for "Ballot measure H-23" (to spend more money for duh homeless (drug addicts and crazies), cuz 'guilt is good'--at least for those who get the fat contracts.

The hoot is that good, compassionate pipo will continue to support spending billions on druggies and crazies, cuz dey iz "compassionate."  I get it.  Really.

Say, where do ya think that money comes from, eh?  Could it come from *constantly increasing property taxes?*  You're damn right it does.  And do those higher taxes have to be paid by homeowners?

I'll give my moronic Dem friends a minute to think about that answer.

Obviously yes.  And will that force more into being unable to afford their mortgage payments?

Democrats: "NOOooo, dat fake news!  Pipo will always pay ad-valorem taxes, no matter how high we raise 'em!  It's just simple logic, like global warming!  An' if yew don' believe it, you're a 'conspiracy theorist!' " 

Lord, I'm done here.  When voters don't understand simple math, you can't educate 'em.
