Mortgage fraudster--and governor of the Federal Reserve Bank--Lisa Cook claims she can't be fired
UPDATE in the fraud case against Lisa Cook: On Thursday night, Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) Director Bill Pulte dropped a second criminal referral against Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook based on evidence that she entered into a 15-year mortgage on a third property which she listed as her "Second Home."
On an ethics form signed with the government, however, Cook noted it as an "investment/rental property."
Why is this bad and not simply a 'clerical error'? As Pulte notes, "Representing the property as a second home may have allowed Cook to secure a lower “Second Home” mortgage down payment and rates, as investment properties typically carry higher down payments and higher rates due to increased risk."
This new criminal referral follows an initial referral Pulte made after Cook listed two properties as her 'primary residence' in 2021 - ostensibly reaping manifold benefits on tax treatment and interest rates, which Cook hasn't denied.
About that Clerical Error...
Earlier Thursday, Cook filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration after President Donald Trump fired her on Monday 'for cause.' Among the excuses contained in the lawsuit for listing two properties as her primary residence was a possible clerical error.
Except, Cook described herself in her 2023 nomination hearing as having "significant experience in banking and finance, as is evidenced by my service on the board of directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and of a Community Development Financial Institution in Michigan, in addition to my employment at an investment bank and a large commercial bank."
SO...corrupt Cook claims she's a *banking expert,* and anyone in the banking business knows you get a lower interest rate on your primary residence, higher on other property.
To repeat: if she claims to be an "expert" in banking, she absolutely, positively knew this. And yet she now claims her listing two residences as her "primary residence" (while quickly renting out one) "may have been a simple clerical error."
"May have been" is a total mislead, designed to shape public opinion by blacks and liberals that the fraudster must not be fired, cuz..."she din' know!"
Bull-fucking-shit.
If Cook was found to have committed fraud in an area having to
do with interest rates, over which she has authority, that taints every
decision she makes. Had this been known during her confirmation
hearings, would bribem's handlers still have nominated her? (Answer:
probably.) Would the senate--which had a tie vote on confirming her
before the moronic, corrupt Cackles broke the tie as VP (the only time a
VP is allowed to cast a vote in the senate), would Cook have been
confirmed? (Answer: probably, since Democrats always vote with the
party.) She should never have been confirmed.

The 24-page complaint in Cook's lawsuit doesn't deny the allegations of mortgage fraud (the filing says nothing about how two applications stated both properties were her "primary residence") but instead claims that even if the claims are true, any false statement she "may have made" to get a lower interest rate would NOT be 'cause' for firing because...wait for it...dis happened before she was confirmed as a governor of the Federal Reserve Bank.
In the section of the 24-page lawsuit complaint titled "Factual
Allegations," point 32 notes the utterly irrelevant fact that Cook is
the first black woman on the board. Of course plaintiffs are entitled
to recite any fact they like, but you'd think they'd stick to the
relevant ones. This isn't, but instead is code to all judges not to support her firing.
Point 50 says "The claims made in Director
Pulte’s referral letter are unsubstantiated allegations that about [sic]
conduct that predates her Senate confirmation..."
Ahh,
"predates her confirmation." That's relevant how? The documents she
signed clearly show she declared two properties to be her "principal
residence," and her own subsequent actions make it clear that she bought
one property specifically for rental income. Fraud. The fact that the
alleged fraud happened before she was confirmed is totally irrelevant.
Point 55. "The
unsubstantiated mortgage fraud allegations that allegedly occurred prior to Cook’s confirmation do not amount to “inefficiency, neglect of
duty, or malfeasance in office,” nor has the President alleged that
they do."
So according to Cook's hotshot Democrat attorney, however deez statements got onto her mortgage app, she can't be fired.
Wait...it gets worse! The lawsuit was immediately been assigned to a DC judge--supposedly totally at random, right? The judge--Jia Cobb--is a black female appointed by bribem.
Anyone wanna bet on how the black female Democrat will rule?
The Deep State protects its own.
